If you had to choose between these three band options for your first Hermès Apple Watch, which one would you pick and why? I’m trying to make a decision and need some help from the professionals in this forum. Thanks in advance.

I would choose deployment. But jumping single tour would be a close second for me. Depends on your style truly. For me, the nylon is an everyday wear, where as the leathers are for certain occasions.

Well after much deliberation and thought, I ended up ordering this one in. I like the Fauve Barénia Leather and the uniqueness of the Attelage Lug. I really appreciate everyone’s feedback and advice. It’s shipping from China, so now the UPS stalking begins! Should be arriving by the 14th.

I own all three of these bands with my SS Hermes Series 6 44mm.
My daily driver is the noir swift deployment band. The noir leather and stainless hardware make for a clean look that goes well with pretty much everything. The deployment buckle makes putting the watch on and off a breeze, plus makes less wear on the leather.
The fauve barenia band is a beautiful band and the leather is soft. You are able to rub out any scratches on the barenia, it’s a little more durable over the swift leather. The barenia does develop a patina over time so that might be a deal breaker for some, but adds to the character. The bleu saphir/orange jumping band is great for outdoor activities/swimming, and is also a casual band for when you don’t want to wear leather and worry about damage. It’s much better than the standard sport band that’s included as it also shares the same stainless hardware. It is stiff and somewhat difficult in putting/removing the end of the band in the loops.
I would go in this order (2, 1, 3) But, it all depends on your personal usage.

An old bone of contention I’m not sure we resolved around here that maybe you can settle? Do you know if the first Feu Epsom (42mm era) is the same color as the second (40/44mm)? Mine look slightly different but my 40mm came used.

they are very similar as colors perhaps darker the first version than the second.
the 2 version I had before I used them a lot, especially the first.
the version I posted you also notice the plastic on the buckle, so it comes from the Hermes. In fact it even had the brown string of the packages when you shop on Hermes. Paid a fool in comparison you have values that you find around.

Yeah I’m under no impression that the good ol’ USA isn’t an incredible resale market for all these bands. I didn’t pay much more than $340 USD (single tour msrp) for both my Feu. I didn’t even mean to have both but the first seller labeled a 42 as a 40—a common mistake with people selling couture and not tech products.

Actually that Saphir Jumping was listed as a 40mm. I looked at the proportions and realized it was a 44mm, but didn’t cancel, though. Luckily I already had an international person of mystery on the waitlist.

Yeah my friend who tracked down that Blanc/Rouge H is a miracle worker. He also managed to grab Lime right after I got him into Hermes, which I didn’t have great hope for.

I feel like the door has closed on finding these classic bands anywhere near retail. If I was trying to repeat the Hermes bands (and even the Apple bands) scores I made during 2020, I don’t think I could.

Which Etain are you after?

Wow, very elegant looking. The texture looks soft yet pronounced. Much richer in color than the stock photos lead you to believe.

Smart pick. My stance is that the nylon is good if you already have a few leather bands but Hermes = high quality leather. Fauve Barenia single tour was my first band (S2) and it's still looking awesome. If you have an active lifestyle, the nylon one is great though.

Will be curious to see if they continue the nylon "jumping" line with the S7 refresh this fall.

PSA: If you wear your Hermès leather bands on the last hole (tightest), the new Jumping bands will definitely be too loose on your wrist, even on the last hole. Shame, as I really liked the band I tried on (Kraft/Rouge).

It’s strange that they list them with the same wrist size range. I just compared my jumping and a random leather (indigo rallye) and the jumping holes start sooner (closer to the lug) and end earlier…

And as someone else already confirmed, unlike leather, you can‘t get additional holes punched in woven nylon. Too bad.

Still my favorite combo for the Space Black. I know its not a Hermes band, but Apple sure does price it like it is.
