Because the Cape Cod watch faces are intended to replicate the quartz watches. Look where 1, 5, 7, and 11 are below.

I don‘t follow? All digits seem to be extremely close to the adjacent bezel?

Don‘t get me wrong, I can absolutely imagine this was some sort of Hermès-influenced design decision – I just don‘t understand it.

Anyone known what “In Preparation” means from a timeline standpoint at Hermes.com?

But there is a large physical bezel on the quartz Cape Cod watches. Note that even on the Series 6 there is a “gap” between the bezel and the numbers. I showed them side-by-side in my earlier comparison.

The previous post about avoiding the parallax effect may have something to do with it, as well.

So I woke up disappointed by the lack of the stretched out numerals on the Hermès watch face.

Then I noticed that the parallax effect also causes the screen to turn grey. Apple/Hermès seem to have kept the numerals just outside the parallax to avoid them being grayed when viewed at an angle.
I'm very happy to see that the color DOES stretch into the corners. I was afraid the bezels on the Hermes faces would stay as thick as before. Thanks for sharing. 😃

The Hermes H Break watch game would make a nice watch face as well. 😅

Looks like Apple neglected their most expensive line of watches and didn’t update the UI. Terrible to see.

Because the numbers aren’t extended to the outer corners of the bezel?? Perhaps it as a design choice and not a UI update issue. If you swipe back and forth between the apple contour face and the colored Hermes faces the colors reach out to the same place the numbers on the contour do.

Hey it's a possibility but probably a good thing to avoid distortion of the entire watch face

Ok, but then why is this „distortion“ fine for other watch faces and indeed actively marketed as a „subtle wraparound effect“? I don‘t get it …

Ok, So those with Bleu Lin, how are you liking the color? I now have my eye on that one, now that I have all the new circuit bands (with the noir bleu coming Thursday). The more I look at this, the more I am leaning towards its purchase. Is it on the grayish blue color? Or a powderish blue?

thanks!!!! I will post pics of my noir bleu when i get it next week.

I personally love it. And blue isn’t my fav color at all.

But it’s a really nice shade that’s not only unique, but it’s easy to match with a lot.

the top part of the strap leather is a bit wonky and having worked with leather in the past I know each variation slightly differs so I’m trying to make my brain be ok with it.

First time Hermes watch owner here. I went out to the Hermes page to review my order status and check out other bands. While doing so, I noticed the price for the Circuit 24 watch & bands have changed.

Anyone else seeing this?

Yes! I cracked up! At first I thought maybe they launched a croc band or some other exotic but then I realized its just a glitch.

Is there any update on the “downloadable watch face” with the new bands on sale?
