I have 30+ 42/44mm Watch bands and I really can’t rebuild my whole inventory lol

Maybe when Apple redesigns completely so old bands don’t fit the new Watch case anymore haha
Totally understand. My wrist is around 185mm, and I think the 45 is a bit on the large size -- I think Apple went a bit crazy with the size of the S7 IMHO.

Picked my baby up after work this afternoon from DHL!!! It was on hold and wasn't ready for collection but as DHL is across the road, thought may as well drop in. They were good enough to go and find it for me. Just updating to 8.0.1 and will post a pic. Sooooo happy!!!!! :D
YAYYYY We both worried about no updates in the tracking for nothing!
DHL is quite good letting you pick it up like that.
Yes please post pics! The lime would look hot 🔥🥵

Here is my baby!!

"ASMR" Apple Watch Series 7 Hermes Edition Unboxing! | Zahar Mobile Review
When I had the first strap, it was EXACT same thing. Too difficult to put in and was very difficult to take off. The second strap (much better in leather quality, no loose thread) was much easier to slide in.
Same with me - my Hermes letter strap is a nightmare to remove - it is the strap as tried it on my S5 and it is the same. I may contact Apple support for a replacement sit is hit and his whether I can remove it - last night it took 5 mins

I have difficulty removing my band also. not sure what the issue is with the watch as i have difficulty with both new Hermes bands.

I love the look of Hermes double tour, but really have a hard time getting the Hermes AW because I'm afraid sizing will change, collaboration will end, technology phases out very quickly.

I'm glad there's Behapi double tour bracelets that I can get in different colors without a watch and the offerings come in gold colored metal too. This way I can stack with my AW and have a little fun.

So I have just had a 'challenging time' with support.

I called Apple (as i bought it direct from them) with my issue. The first person was a total waste of time. Basically said I had to return the whole watch and band for a replacement first and they will send out a new one...on December 3rd. I pointed out that I had AppleCare + and surely 'express replacement' is quicker than 2 month, she argued the toss for about 10 mins that i didn't have Apple care (even when quoting the agreement number and sharing my screen with the email). I then said OK, can't be bothered with this I will buy a new strap for £339 which is available for tomorrow delivery then return it. She didn't get it she said I still have to return the watch. I kept saying that I was buying a NEW ADDITIONAL strap and would return that, but she was having none of it and didn't understand. Finally she put me through to AppleCare as I said I know you say i haven't got it, but I have so let me have the convo with them. The AppleCare guy was really good and initially said i can just replace the strap, then realised it was Hermes and after a bit of hold music said I have to contact Hermes support. I did, and what a breath of fresh air, 3 mins later I receive an email saying not a problem, someone will call me later this afternoon to arrange a pickup and replacement strap!

In the meantime I have worked out what is wrong with the strap. Basically when you push the strap in the case, the three rubber bits are on the top of the strap, the middle one is longer so as it goes into the casing it pushes down and clicks into place. The button then pushes this up and you can slide out. It seems that the rubber is a lot thicker than normal on this middle piece and after investigating if i use a plastic pick to push the button (so it really goes in far) it slides in and out perfectly. I hope that makes sense and I will also ask Hermes to check my replacement

Wow that sounds like a lot of work! I just went in and asked for a replacement. The guy seemed a bit confused at first but to be fair he just started working this quarter and was quick to figure it out, and I was soon on my way.

it’s impressive you figured out what went wrong. I just don’t have the patience or the care lol. I noticed it was tougher and luckily the replacement strap was ok.

I had some difficulties with two braided solo loops and with one of last year's Hermes bands too. It's exatly like you say. I had to push my nail onto the button very hard to get the band out again. I also returned them.

Yeah I am still going to return the strap, but I am wearing it now until i get the return sorted from Hermes (probably tomorrow) as at least I know i can remove it :)

The Hermes leather is too nice to not wear!
