Maybe my next one after the S7 will be Hermes. Love that face.Nope. You need the Hermes watch to get the face.

Love it! Funny enough I am rocking the same exact same combo and even the same watch face!!
Been looking at the Goliath bracelet - goes great with the watch!Series 7 Hermes 45mm paired it up with Hermes Goliath bracelet
After a few hours, the S7 Hermès is a bit of a mixed bag (for me).
The Bleu Lin Single Tour is fantastic, easily my co-favourite Hermès strap (along with the Bambou and Bordeaux Single Tours).
The Watch itself doesn‘t look perceivably larger on the wrist while the new screen is absolutely fabulous. It makes the S4-6 look quite old.
The new screen, like the tide, floats (almost) all boats, i.e. watch faces. For my most used ones, Infograph is bigger, bolder and more legible while Info Modular will be replaced in my daily routine by the very useful Modular Duo. Best of all, Typograph is massively improved by the digits moving much closer to the edge. I also like Stripes, now that they span almost the entire display.
The Hermès faces are where the bag gets (very) mixed. Circuit is nice, but I would only ever use it with a Circuit strap (which I do not plan to get). Circulaire was optimized in size and is bigger and more legible, but still very dim in always-on mode. (As Infograph is more useful, I never used Circulaire all that much anyway.) The keep-or-send-back question for me boils down to the regular Hermès face. I love, love, love the one with only 4 digits and the „fat“ hands (in Espace, mostly), and it looks as lovely as ever. As far as I can make out, it hasn‘t really been „optimized“ at all, i.e. the digits didn‘t move outwards, but especially with a black background (like I use it 90% of the time anyway) it still looks great … when it‘s on. It has always been – like all Hermès faces – noticeably dimmer in always-on mode than other watch faces, but on the S7 the gap gets really big. Typograph always-on looks easily twice as bright. Hence Typograph – optimized for the new screen in two ways (size and brightness) – is now for me in some crucial ways better than the not-optimized-at-all, I‘m-#1-so-why-try-harder regular Hermès watch face. Which makes me ponder the value I got for paying the Hermès tax.
Hi Folks, please advise.
I just scored something. It all of a sudden became available so I placed an order for the Hermes Single Tour 41 in orange. The quintessential Hermes color. It will be delivered middle of November which is just around the corner.
My question is, the gold color Single Tour is also available, but it's not as special as the orange color and I plan to get the Double Tour band separately (in Rouge H or if lucky Bleu Lin).
Which of these two colors would you go for? For reference, I'm pretty fashionable in daily wear and I want something unique and fun. But I can't help but think the gold will be more versatile, but I already have the Hermes gold Kelly bag and TBH, I hardly carry it because it's so ordinary. Also the gold reminds me of my Cartier Tank watch which I've had for 20 years. Help!!!
So this question is: which would you rather if you were in my shoes?

I agree. The gold or fauve create a very sleek and smooth look. But if you want something more exciting I'd go for a bold color.IMO I think go for the orange. I have the gold and it is 'ordinary' but that is what I like - I am a 52 year old male and can't carry off as easily the orange (maybe I can but it's in my head I can't). Also the gold is my daily driver, so I wanted it to be 'ordinary'. As a second (or 3rd, 4th etc) I think the orange is perfect - really different and looks stunning!
Orange. You grow into that Hermes orange boldness, I think. And resist the new-ness of gold in favor of the ultimate variety of fauve barenia. ✨Hi Folks, please advise.

I'm not sure why Apple hasn't optimized these faces for the Hermès watch. Its not an Hermès decision as they don't have any say on the software side of things so they seem to have been for whatever reason ignored by Apple.
Why not have both? Just order whatever band you like with the watch and then purchase the other band separately. I have the orange band which I bought separately when I had my Hermes SBSS Series 6. I love it and wear it frequently. I don’t have the Fauve because it’s just ordinary and will always be a Hermes staple color. While the orange, and other colors will come and go more quickly. I like that I can change my watch band daily and add a pop of color with my various Hermes bands. I have bought more bands this year than in any other release because the colors are just so unique and beautiful and I know if I wait they will be gone. I even like to wear one black and one orange part of my Hermes sports bands with my SBSS for Halloween. I would buy the orange and add the Fauve separately. Or even better go all out like I did and buy all the new Circuit bands. Love all three of them now I have my eye on Bleu Lin.Hi Folks, please advise.

Sadly, the fauve is already being discontinued. At least here in Germany. They replace it with gold. But the two are very different. If anyone loves the natural leather of the fauve, hunt it down now while you still can. I personally don't care for it at all. Just a heads up for people who might want to get it. Absolutely. Many Hermes fans love exactly that about the fauve. The feel of an untreated natural leather is something completely different compared to the colored leathers. I'm all for the colors that don't change their look and feel that much. ?I had the Fauve barenia since 2017 and it darkened/developed a patina very quickly.
I sold it with my S6 Hermès and kept the Bambou swift I bought the watch with.
I think the gold swift looks similar to the Fauve but should keep its colour more without darkening too much?
Interesting ... Do you have any „inside“ information about this? Because the decision being influenced by Hermès was so far just about the only plausible explanation for what happened.
I won‘t get my hopes up high, but maybe one of these days one of the Apple designers will actually slap his or her forehead and exclaim: „Folks, I always had the feeling we forgot one thing during that stressful time when the S7 manufacturing didn‘t ramp as planned … just look at the Hermès watch faces!!“ And then they‘ll laugh bittersweet tears because it’s so hilarious that the Hermès Watches „actually shipped like that.“
I feel the same. I wish Hermes would just put more holes in it while they're at it. Would make it so much easier for people.I received my 45mm Bleu Lin yesterday. It’s absolutely stunning and should be a versatile color. The leather is very soft and comfortable to the skin. I may have one additional hole punched during my next trip to Las Vegas. There are no Hermes physical stores in my city. The watch is just slightly loose on the existing last hole. It’s comfortable but not as snug as I normally would wear it.
Tiny scratches on the hermes bracelet just noticed them. oh well LolI was initially planning on wearing the Goliath next to the Watch — but I was afraid of scratches. ?
If it's on the stainless steel you can buff them right out with a Cape Cod cloth.Tiny scratches on the hermes bracelet just noticed them. oh well Lol

Thank you, and you are right it is palladium plated.Pretty sure it's palladium plated, I'd research more before using a Cape Cod cloth on it.
I'd switch it to the other wrist as the DLC on the watch crown will mark it more & more.
Both watch and Goliath look fantastic by the way.
