PS: I hate that the Focus icon stays on the watch face permanently

Ebene Barenia Single Tour Deployment Buckle

PS: I hate that the Focus icon stays on the watch face permanently
I’ve lived with the DND moon for years but now that Focus is so (well) engineered and surfaced, I can’t help but wonder if we really need it. I especially get tired of waiting for the Now Playing dot to reappear so I can hit it…

No. I don’t think so. For the last seven releases they have not changed them, i doubt they would do it now. They would psis’s off too many customers.
In a recent paywalled article, Alan Dye called band compatibility a “foundation principle.”

Just look how accommodating the 42/44/45 band size is between the first and third body size; I would say they could go even wider if they want:

Yes, I thought the same thing. I would even go so far and say the band compatibility is here to stay forever.

However, I expect them to release a 3rd size (bigger) that will come with a new band size and all previous bands will not be compatible (in the same way a 38/40/41 does not fit 42/44/45).

Not until the Spring
This is my first Hermes Apple watch, I'm happy with the fall/ winter colors so far. When the new spring release comes out, are they usually happier, more summery colors? Do you think the new double tour style will stay and just have more colors?

I really cant decide if i should wait until next year for one it’ll be my first Hermes watch.
There is no reason to wait from my perspective. If you have money to spare, go get one. The current one has a redesigned size, but every feature we know from.

Next year, next decision.
But as most value is in those gorgeous bands, starting early when those you want are available is probably a decision you won’t regret.

And reselling is always an option to limit the money lost if you are not satisfied or want to upgrade.

New here!

Does Apple retire the fall Hermès bands when the spring ones debut?

Does anyone have Gold swift next to Rouge H for comparison?

From what I’ve seen some, if not most colors (other than Fauvre and Noir and probably Gold going forward) are retired by Apple but still available from Hermes to the extent there is still stock.

Does anyone with SS “polish” their watch of minor scratches and, if so, what do you use (Cape Cod cloths, etc.)?

Relatedly I purchased an Hermès Goliath bracelet and found the SS clasp was scratching the side of my watch slightly and now wonder if anyone experiences the same with bracelets and the SS watch.

The consensus seems to be that the best product for polishing the SS watch is the cape cod cloth. I wouldn’t do it frequently though. Remember that every time you polish, you are removing the top layer(s) of the stainless steel. You are not removing the scratches so much as you are removing the stainless steel around the scratches. If you polish too often, you might noticeably affect the shape of the casing.

I personally never polish my SS. But I wouldn’t do it more than once every 6 months or so if I did.

Just got my AW last night and it’s really exciting until the tiny #scratch on the stainless case, even not put the strap onto the watch yet. I know I could return this watch but there is no stock in the apple store website with Attelage Single Tour one, witch means i have to wait and no one can tell me when will it be available. Need some advice if you will return this watch or just ignore the tiny scratch and wear it today?!
