Hi everyone!

So last year I really wanted a Fauve Barenia band. I wanted to have something that would develop an attractive patina and started looking for the Double Tour. I had zero luck and I "settled" on the Gourmette Double Tour. I ended up returning that band as it wasn't what I actually wanted.

I got the Fauve Barenia Double Tour last year (yay!) and lately have been thinking about the Gourmette version. Found the attached picture in my post history from when I had the Gourmette and think the patina it gets will be just as nice as the DT... maybe nicer due to the chain link appearance it has.

This would be my 4th leather band from Hermes. I have the Fauve Barenia DT, Noir DT, and the Noir DT Attelage. Do I go for the band? Thoughts?

White stitching is a pet peeve of mine but it really is a gorgeous band. ?

I got the Noir/Bleu jumping band but I didn’t like it and returned it. It really just did nothing for me. I do love it in photos on other people though!

Fauve Barenia Gourmette Double Tour imo is the most "design beautiful" bands ever made. Period. If it weren't because I have very tiny wrists, I'd get one in a heart beat.

And I really believe in a few years, looking back, this band will do very well in the resale market too.

Never got my head around straps that go around twice. I appreciate you may like this strap but it’s certainly not on my like list.

Agreed - I’ve been more and more tempted over the last few weeks. Just difficult to shell out £849 when that could go a long way towards a new MacBook Pro  decisions decisions…

Huh. When I posted yesterday I thought I was going to be able to just order the band as I saw it on Apple.com and also in their app. NOPE! Apparently, it's "currently unavailable" for delivery. I'm starting to think I should have kept the band I got last year as I might not be able to get it now. The Hermes location I got my watch from last year opens in about 45 minutes. I'll give them a call and see if they have it available. If not, I'll keep my eye on Apple until I'm able to place the order

Only make a luxury purchase when you feel comfortable. No pressure. After all, it’s just another thing you “want”, not what you “need”. ?

Meanwhile I’m waiting for the new spring release of regular double tour colors. I hope they have something light and refreshing! If not, I’m planning on getting the regular gold.

Question: do you guys think the Rouge H will look too winter in the spring/ summer times. Or you think it’s a color that works all four seasons?

My wrists are small as well and the Double Tour bands are the only ones I'm able to wear. I wear them on the 4th hole but could easily use the 3rd. Have you tried a DT band? It could work for you :)

IMO you can wear it spring/summer. It's not a vibrant red at all. I find it to be more brown with muted red overtones.

Ah, never mind. I was wondering about the colors but apparently I had night shift on and they all looked a little but more bluey.
