To those who have the original Noir Rallye Gala for Series 3 with silver lugs, does this band look genuine to you? Saw this on Mercari but it doesn’t come with a box (S3 didn’t have separate boxes for the watch and band).

Happy new year! I got it change to a Fauve deployment buckle. Loving the color! Think the classic color is something to hold on to.If I were you I'd go with the Fauve. You can always get a Noir later, if it turns out you need something more formal. Noir will always be available, Fauve might not.
Personally I wouldn't wear my Noir for anything other than a funeral, but then, I'm a girl

As for me, I'm liking my Noir better since I had that extra hole made. It now fits better and does not look so enormous.
To complicate your dilemma some more
the Jumping nylon will also give a different feel than Hermes leather or Apple rubber plastic. I took a chance on the Jumping when many people said it's very comfortable. It's shockingly comfortable to me. I don't know what they did to make nylon so comfortable. So comfort shouldn't be an issue. Then it's just a design look decision. Besides not knowing about S6 Jumping bands until S7 none of the designs felt perfect to me, then with S7 there's an orange version that's not too bright and has what I feel is a good color combo (orange/light brown). I felt as you do now, that the price is so close to leather, but I'm very happy I got the Jumping.
Let me throw in another vote for trying the Jumping. I, too, find it remarkably comfortable and I don't worry about the band the way that I do my Hermes leather. It's made me more comfortable and confident for choosing the occasion for actually donning the leather, and otherwise, rain be damned, I love my Jumping.
Given your quandary, have you considered getting a second hand Jumping? I predict that they will wear very well and be eminently suitable as a second hand purchase. I picked up the Noir/Bleu Saphir for $175 last week and it arrived in perfect shape. Could be a good formula to try and see if Jumping (!) is the right answer.
I cannot agree more, it’s definitely more robust and therefore comfort for the mind to wear if their might be anything stressing your leather ones.
And it will never slip off, like the silicon ones eventually will do.

Does anybody know if the single tour deployment tour regularly goes in and out of stock at apple?
I was planning on ordering this morning but the website says it’s unavailable for shipping. The bands still show in stock at apple but what concerns me is they are out of stock at Hermes. Hoping I didn’t miss out!

It seems like the long-running Ebene (2017) and newer Noir (2020) never made it to 45mm and have been discontinued and Apple’s stock (and Hermes bricks and mortar) is the last there will be. Hermes has older bands but I don’t think the website ever brings bands back?
But the Fauve should be back on the Hermes site. It’s 45mm and has the NEW tag at Apple. I imagine as the last Fauve standing, it was pretty popular this quarter.

I’m super bummed! Didn’t realize it would run out of stock! The weird thing is they still have all the bands available at apple. So I could buy the single tour in a different color and then get the fauve deployment buckle separately. That’s an expensive way to do it though. Ha!

Ahh the whole value meal. Got it. Strange you can order a vanilla SSS and the Deployant separately but not the whole kit. I guess they’re short on the pretty orange packaging ?.

Or in reality there’s gotta be economies to having a line dedicated to the vanilla SSS without the special software or engraving…or perhaps just meeting the demand of the normal line.

Do you still wear this or just for show and admiration? The patina is very nice.
This is how it came not that long ago, so its look is “new” to me and I wear it as often as it can float back to the top. Def need to set aside a public appearance for the next time we hit Covid low tide.
Low key my favorite part might be the stitching around the case of the watch. Very wireframe/blueprint.
Has anybody had any success in purchasing a 41mm S7 with the Bleu Lin band, either double tour or single tour? I had ordered one a few months back but due to travel plans, I had to cancel the order. Well, I'm kicking myself b/c I've tried purchasing the watch again, but the Bleu Lin seems to be unavailable. I've tried the Hermes store as well. Should I stay hopeful or resign myself to ordering something different? TIA.
Stay hopeful, at least Hermes will have them in stock again at some point. They only show you what is currently available, so keep checking.
We do have it in stock at our side apple store. I just got it and loving the deployment single tour!
