My apologies as I am a newbie to Hermes ownership (SB S7).

Question for the Jumping Tour owners- What is this band made of? Hermes is known for their leather. I do like the look of these and I sense these bands hold up differently do daily use?
They are made with nylon, but as many reviews here have stated--and I can confirm, because I have two now--they are extraordinarily well-made and high quality. The band has heft to it, so it is not just a slinky nylon weave. The nylon used, and the manner in which it is constructed, leaves it soft to the touch, shiny, and the colors are quite bold (I got the Rouge de Cœur/Rouge H as well as the Kraft/Lime and the online marketing photos don't do the colors justice as in real life.

I’ve finally got my hands on mobile selective color editing, let me know if you have any Jumping concepts you wanna see. Im thinking Rose Jaipur is about to join Blanc, Saphir, and Lime as the latest vintage Epsom to return.

Anyone know if London Hermes store can add an extra hole to bands? Feel like all of mine could do with one more.

I’ve finally got my hands on mobile selective color editing,
Can you share which app you use to do this? Want to see my house in different colors lol.

Also, love your mockups. Is there a "hard white" color in the Hermes palate? Would love to see that with the dark blue (I forget the name of that color, but the current band is blue and black).

I took a look back at Hermès Summer 2022 collection and there was an emphasis on a minty green color, somewhat similar to the Bleu du Nord/Vert Bosphore concept. That would be an amazing color to have in leather also, like the Circuit H.

Pixelmator Photo’s selective color tool made it really easy to isolate. I think it’s been on my iPad for years but they recently shipped for iPhone and I’ve been using it for some band photo edits that Photos can’t handle and I’m slowly stepping my game up.

Feels like Apple would just go with Blanc. My money is on more Kraft bands or maybe some neutral we haven’t seen before rather than Etoupe or Etain entering the nylon lineup.

Yeah I need to get Bleu Paon ideas sketched to have my “old epsom colors” bases covered and then find the name of some mint and lime greens as it’s very easy to get there with the existing hero shots.

These are excellent! You did a concept of a Navy/Bleu Agate Circuit H some time ago. Wouldn’t mind seeing that in a Jumping band too (though it might be too muted a combination for spring).

I believe any Hermes store is able to add extra holes to the leather bands. IIRC they cannot add extra holes to the nylon bands.

Thankssss

Yeah that was based on the Navy circuit face which I’m even more sure is just a stock look not meant for a circuit band. Especially as I was looking up argent yesterday and I don’t think that’s even a leather color, perhaps just meant to go with the steel?

I also put up a bunch of new circuits on the concepts thread last week. My new boyfriend Bleu France looks similar to that prior concept, Celeste accent. I’m also seeing Capucine ripe for a reboot.

What a combination ? White is not for sale anymore? The ceramic Apple Watch as a beauty.
Blanc first showed up in 38mm Epsom single and double tour in the second Hermes collection Spring 2016 and then as a Rouge H-accented Swift Rallye and D.T. in Spring 2018.

Half of Noir/Blanc/Gold in Spring 2020.

Then Swift Attelage Double Tour with no accent color in Spring 2021 to really tease everyone with wrists too big for those bands.

Apologies, I don’t own one of these yet but I’m curious - I want to wear this as a daily wear nice watch but I also want to run with it since a main reason I’m upgrading to a cellular capable watch is so I can listen to any podcasts and music without having to run with my phone too.

I know it comes with an orange sport band - is it reasonable to change a leather band out to the sport band every time I run? Is it even a good idea to run with and sweat all over this watch? I have a series 3 base watch that always has the sport band on and sweating all over the back of it doesn’t seem to cause any issues.

yes you can sweat all over the watch or go shower or swimming with it - no problem.
The leather bands however are very vulnerable to any kind of moisture.
If you treat them well, the leather will develop a nice patina over time.
This is why the sports band comes in handy, you can have both: sport band for physical activities and leather in between ;)

Or you might opt for one of the nylon bands as a daily driver. I think it’s almost indestructible, as I have been swimming in the ocean, hiking, doing CrossFit and anything in between … and mine looks like new.

Switching the band for sport is a breeze, so you can pick and choose.
Many people of this forum tend to have more than one band, and therefore switch regularly.

I wear my various colored sport bands as daily drivers. So my Hermes leather bands stay in their pouches (most of the time).

+1,000,000

I have two and have found myself wearing them pretty much exclusively (not much call for "fancy" these days, so the leather sits on the shelf)

You guys are doing your best to make me drop £300 on a Hermes Jumping lol. I was on the fence, but I think I will wait what colours the spring brings and jump off the fence to the jumping side :)

Sounds like a good idea, a spring refresh should be imminent (March). However, the red and orange jumping tours are timeless in my opinion.
