Even for the S6/S7 the Space Black Watch on Apple’s website used the Graphite model. The Hermès site doesn’t and is actually Space Black.
Incredible, such a random corner to cut. It looks graphite on s8 now too.

Looks graphite. Also, the space black link bracelet. I have one from 2018 ish and its extremely dark. I bought one earlier this year and it was MUCH lighter than mine from 2018. I took it to the apple store and the employee opened another brand new one and it was just as light as the newer one. Returned it and still use my actual 2018 space black bracelet.

It will be Space Black. It’s been exclusive to Hermes since S6.This is worrying. I was all ready to get a SB S8 as a replacement for my ageing S2 SBSS, but certainly not if it is just graphite.
I was told at the Honolulu Apple store that they do not carry them in house but the Hermes store at the same mall told me their Waikiki Hermes store carries them. I got the impression that no Apple store carry them but SOME Hermes stores do. Maybe someone from a big city with lots of stores knows.
I will be in Paris in June and hope to see extra bands for sale in the stores there.
I don’t know how about launch timing on pick-up availability but I know for sure the more tony Apple Stores have them.
I’d love to see the Hermes display case in the Hermes store if you can snap a pic!
Sure, just sent them an email asking if they are gonna have something in stock on Friday. Hermes.es says watches delivers from 19/09 so maybe on Friday they wont have any... Let's see what they say.
BTW Im a bit surprised Apple doesnt offer any 41 mm SB option... I mean you have to "design it" but there is no standard configuration with 41
Yeah the only 41mm space black band is the long-standing Noir Swift, weird. Three new DTs and two Gourmette—in Noir no less—all silver. Hermes stores have out-of-season bands, maybe you’ll get lucky.
I wish, my goal was a SB 41 with jumping single with matching lungs, but it seems that this season there is nothing....
In NYC, only two stores usually have Hermes products for same day pickup (Fifth Ave and Wall St). I have seen in the past that others allow pickup within two days of ordering.

It depends on the location of the stores.
Some Apple stores don't have them, but some others do, same thing with Hermes shops, some will sell the watch where others don't.
You will most likely find everything in Paris, they have Hermes bands that you can try in the Apple Store Champs Elysees, and there are plenty of Hermes stores.
Not going to happen, Hermes wouldn’t give Apple the permission to use the Hermes brand name on anything (Bands, Watch-faces etc) if the collaboration was to end.

I see the Ultra and Hermes watches in two different categories. For me, I think the Ultra is hideously ugly and it does not look like a premium watch. Honestly, I could have gotten that premium look with just the SS model and not specifically the Hermes model, but the Hermes watch faces elevate it to me. I just wonder how many Ultra owners would have bought the Hermes version to begin with.
If anyone at Apple and Hermes is listening, I would really love for a JUMPING Tour Watch Face. We got a couple for Circuit H, when only 3 bands were released. Now that there are many more Jumping Tour Bands, how about we get those next go around--pretty please?
Anyone got the official, non-beta WatchOS 9 on their Hermès yet? If so, did you really not get the Nike watch faces?
AFAIK the latest beta is also the release version, mine hasn’t updated to have any new faces at all regardless.
The update is taking a ridiculously long time, estimating it at 2 hours before downloading it into my iphone.
I’ve just updated my Hermès series 7 - can confirm, no Nike faces. Disappointing.
