With WatchOS10, what is now your favorite and go to watch face?

Pre 10, I normally had the Hermès Circulair due to the complications. Now is is 99.9% of the time the Radial due to the Smart Stack.

Anyone else like this?
Yeah ive left mine on Radial as well. It just looks so classy, i love it!
Im still trying to get the hang of using Smart Stack and im still trying to get to the hang of pressing the crown button now for the control centre. I keep swiping up on the screen still 😂

Thanks, need the smaller size though. (Not for wear pictures of course - any swift gold will do. I even tried to find bag photos but I suspect most Hermes bag owners doesn’t put their bag in wear situations…)

You did give me the idea to look for used completed listings as a source for photos. Still nothing that way that showed any significant wear.

So perhaps @BillGates1969 this is all a sign: swift bands just don’t get worn that often. Given how light the gold is, and my own experience with other pristine-look leather bands, I would probably do same.
I tend to wear my Circuit Rouge H when I wear the leather, that is why I haven’t worn the swift much. It is lovely leather but it is a bit light and I worry about staining it.

I’ve been pressing the button for the control center since I first got the AW because it felt more natural to me for the control center to be there. It’s nice to actually get the control center now lol.

Hey @Boardiesboi is the first watch in your post here the Swift Gold (image below copied from the link)? It's in stock in 41mm at Hermes. I'd rather the Fauve Barenia but seems like it's not been sold ever (most recent I could find with search was 40mm so S6 vintage?). I don't generally like perfect-when-new heavily pigmented leathers, but if that's how the Swift Gold looks with wear I'd try it.

EDIT: From more search, pretty sure this is the Fauve Barenia. Anyone who's had a Gold Swift with some wear/age, would like to see a pic. Seems like many had the same question a couple years ago but I didn't find subsequent responses (perhaps because Gold Swift was new then?)

This picture has me thinking about getting the Fauve Barenia for my Space Black. Any more photos by any chance?

This shows my straps in the three colours - gold swift (left); Fauve Barenia (centre) almost brand new, just bought from Apple last month after knowing they may phase out leather; and Fauve Barenia after using for one year (but I haven’t used it much).

I actually also like the Gold Swift colour, it’s a “calming” and classy colour. Different vibes from the Fauve.

Surprised how much people like the new rubber bands.
The leather bands just ooze quality to me, in a way i didn't think possible and i never regretted the high price because of it.
Just can't imagine a rubber band doing the same.

I am sort of thinking the same. However, I did think that about the Jumping and they are now my daily drivers. My new Toile H is absolutely stunning and to me worth the £299 I paid.

I love the rubber bands and they do ooze quality because they are so soft and comfortable to wear. Nothing like the sports bands, 1000% more comfortable and the deployment buckle on them just seals the deal. Definitely gives a whole new look to the Apple Watch in my opinion.

@Bona Mish or others. How do you find the Kilim band? Is it easy to put on and take off? Any adverse skin reaction to the rubber?
Very easy to use one you get the hang of how to hold to deployment mechanism. The rubber is very soft and comfortable, no issues.

I think the fact that Hermes continued to produce leather bands, when Apple stopped selling them is a testament to the fact that this product sells for Hermes, and that they will be around for a while.
100% this! They just released 26 new bands, the most ever in one go I think (?), including new styles and new leather bands even though Apple is pulling away from leather. I'd say that is a pretty good indicator the partnership is in good health.

I actually also like the Gold Swift colour, it’s a “calming” and classy colour. Different vibes from the Fauve.
Absolutely. I love the uniqueness of Barénia leather, but also appreciate the consistent and beautiful tan colour of Gold Swift.

It doesn't have to be mutually exclusive. I love my leather bands and will continue to buy more, but I also really like the new Kilim style. It also oozes quality, and imo is the same step up from the Apple sport bands as Hermès leather is a step up from Apple leather.

@Nozuka I am first time Hermes AW owner, bought it with the rubber band (haha). I like it. However, I would definitely not have paid the Hermes premium for it were it lacking the deployant clasp.

Side rant/ “deployment” is simply the wrong term, it’s a concession to mass marketing US customers by Hermes IMO. /rant

As for leather - I appreciate y’alls help w/r/t the Swift Gold band, but after I inspected it on delivery this weekend I’ll be returning it. Personally it doesn’t meet my standard for leather quality. Debating whether to share the details of why, I don’t want to potentially devalue them to the eyes of the many thread contributors who have them. I would still be interested in the Barenia strap if Hermes ever offers it inn the 41mm size (or a NIB 40mm appeared and wasn’t hugely expensive…which I very much doubt).

I must admit I love the swift, but I have no other Hermes leather to compare it to (I have a Circuit H that is also swift I believe). I would be interested to see the difference as my only previous leather was the apple leather (original classic buckle) and I was impressed by the difference.

Love the Jumping too though and they definitely feel premium to me.

I purchased an Ultra 2 after coming from an Ultra last year, but missing the Hermes so I also ordered a Series 9 with Kilim - Orange last week.

Here are some of my thoughts on the band - not much to say about S9. The Kilim band is fine, but it’s still rubber though and IMO overpriced for what it is. I guess the only thing that makes it close to $349 is the deployment buckle.

I find the Apple sports band and even the Ultra ocean band more comfortable for me, because the deployment buckle slightly digs into my wrist (I had the same problem with the previous versions of the deployment buckle). Overall, the Kilim is a nice non-leather addition to the Hermes line.

I know this is Blasphemy to some, and it may get me kicked out of the Hermes Club, but here it goes. The Ultra Hermes. LOL A couple folks in one of the MR forums asked for pics of an Ultra with Hermes bands so I thought I would post one.

Even with a fake Hermes face, and a real Hermes band, the Ultra 2 isn't going to win any beauty contests. The Ultra 2 is pretty darn functional though.
