Sourced from another band—iirc SBSS Attelage was only available for one season with the Series 6.
Swapped a standard lug on anyway, Attelage made it a little too long but the standard lug makes it the same overall length as my other Attelage leather swaps and it fits just as well. Buckle sits fine too, which I was a little worried about.
This one screams for a SBSS Attelage swap, though. If only I had one.
This band... always leaving me with no words.

It barely fit my Apple Card. But I tried 2 card, and it is super tight .
The etoupe leather strap is quite a good match for the taupe fine woven case
tape the etoupe to the taupe today?
Love the étoupe strap! So understatedly elegant....
Looks amazing. But I like the deployment clasp so much more than the regular closures. Less wear and tear on the band with the deployment claspForgot to share it on SBSS.

Fingers crossed for brighter Kilim options (Blanc, Béton) in the spring with contrasting black hardware—including the deployment buckles.
first time hermes buyer this year. got space black and kilim rouge only to realize the connectors don’t match 😢. then realized none of the hermes straps have blackish connectors.
is this typical of hermes straps every year? so everyone who buys space black is forced to be mismatched?

The noir/vert militaire (45) and denim/noir (41) have black connectors. At one point Apple didn’t let you buy the SBSS watch with a silver-steel band but then in fall 2021 they did promo in a magazine with design head Evans Hankey in SBSS with the Noir/Rouge H band and opened up the Hermes watches to come with any band.
Recent history they’ve mostly only done SBSS bands in the fall/winter collection, so the ones I listed above might be the only S9 bands that match?

They also have six or so leather bands with Space Black hardware still on the Hermès (US) site at least. Historically, over 90% of Apple Watch Hermès bands have silver hardware. Thems the breaks.

is space black not that popular, that why they can’t be bothered to release both colour connectors?
Silver surely has to have a wider audience, but fall 2022 SBSS got the two best bands in Bleu de France Diagonal (really the only true strong bright blue they’ve done in leather) and Cuivre Diagonal.
And Noir/Vert Veronese and now this Noir/Militaire are hot hot looks the SSS cannot touch (as much as i love my Bleu Lin/VV)
The fall collection came out in September.
For years the only options with SBSS were Noir, Noir, or Noir. Now we have some colors at least but the expansion has been slow.
Do you have any Bleu de France photos? Does anyone have any recommendation/links for quality black lugs/connectors? I want to change a few of my leather bands from SS to SBSS.
I happen to have one… I love the diagonal H perforated design. Not so much the colour, but it’s one of the few bands for the SBSS I have.
buying the 41mm hermes watch is only my second apple watch purchase ever. was wearing the sport loop with the black aluminum one all this time.
only started using apple products two years ago since i was born. ha
but even with tiny wrists at 5.75inch i find the last hole too tight on the kilim & the hermes sport band. i like to wear my watch right behind the wrist bone so now i’m thinking i should have bought the 45mm hermes since larger 41mm official straps aren’t available.
delivered on sept 22 so too late to return but my hope of keeping the pricey hermes for years won’t work since i’m already annoyed daily by the tightness of the straps.getting indentations on my wrist even wearing it directly behind my wrist bone. sigh.
wearing hermes with ugly sport loops isn’t my thing and i can’t self-punch new holes. if i add another hole to the kilim it goes over the hermes branding anyway.

5.75 in = 146mm
Mine is 155mm and I had the 41mm and Kilim bands and was using the third smallest hole.
45mm Hermès bands are for 160mm plus wrists.
Do you have a picture of the watch on your wrist to share?
