Any of you guys switch back and forth from the Hermes watch to the Ultra? I do it often and it's always so nice to put the Hermes back on.
I did with the Ultra 1 with my S8 Hermes but just sold my Ultra 1 when I got the S9 Hermes. I just like the aesthetic too much and the battery is more than enough to get me through 22-24 hours; fast charging while i shower is all i need to get to the next day.

Why is the notification dot off-center on the Radial face? I decided to try it out and that bugs me a little. Is everyone else’s off-center?

Yes and it bugs most of us.

The thing is: it does not bug me that it's there at this particular position (I actually find it better off-center so the watch face doesn't shrink), it bugs me that I can't turn it off altogether.

I had the Ultra 1 last year. It was my first year without a new Series watch. This year I bought the Ultra 2 and Series 9 Hermes. I decided to keep the Ultra 2. I couldn't not justify spending $2,300+ this year and use a high end mechanical watch for more formal events.

Positives Ultra
1. Battery life - huge difference especially for my workout routines. I end my day between 60-70%. So I can go almost 2.5 days without a charge.
2. Flat screen design. The screen size is similar, but the screen feels nicer because of the flat design

Negatives Ultra
1. Size of the watch
2. Band selection is very poor
3. No Hermes bands - I don't like to mis-match lugs, but the pics on here - Kilim seems very doable

These are the sorts of things that usually bother me a lot, but it didn't during my 2 week usage of the Series 9. I'm sure Apple can fix in an update, but for whatever reason I am ok with it, but 100% understand those who aren't.

After a short two week wait, my watch arrived a week ahead of schedule!

First impression is that the Kilim band is much more comfortable than I expected. I have a couple Seiko divers with rubber straps that I never found all that comfortable so I was a little apprehensive about the fit and feel. I can definitely see this being my daily driver.

I will add the Apple link bracelet and the leather link and work them in here and there.

By the way, does anyone here have any of the small leather goods range items from Hermès, wallets or cardholders etc.
I have the new MagSafe wallet, and a few bracelets (a Gold Tournis Tresse and a Gris Étain Puzzle H). As with everything Hermès they are beautiful and extremely well made, but not cheap!

Thanks to @Bona Mish I have printed a new case for my Hermes bands

I need to post process a bit, but looks good so far!
Looks great! All the credit goes to Ben who created this though. What 3D printer do you have?

Yep. Apple wise I have the AirTag bag charm in vert Rousseau/rouge sellier on my work bag. From the other replies I don't think you want to know about the other girly things I have lol!
I do! Beautiful Garden Party. Is that the 36? I'm thinking about getting a leather one, perhaps in Étoupe.

Yep, I have reached out to Ben for his tip jar as it is a great design.

I have just got back into 3D printing after a break of about 7 years (So much has changed), so have bought an Ender 3 V3 SE to see how I go...I can see an upgrade coming soon, though to be fair for the price this is excellent.

Thanks Bona.

I’m thinking of the Calvi but it holds too much and I’ve seen reviews where people say the contents move around.

Do you think the MagSafe ones would be able to hold two cards, or would it stretch it too much?

Is there a market for secondhand Hermes Apple Watches - I’ve checked the usual resellers (Backmarket is a good one I have used before) but they don’t have Hermes as I guess nobody sells them.

Apple doesn’t seem to have refurbed units, for the same reason, no doubt!

My new (used) Orange Single Tour 45mm that I ordered via Buyee arrived today.

Lovely!

Ignore the watch and mismatch, it’s my old S7 Graphite Stainless Steel that I don’t wear much now.

Very nice!!!! 🫶😍

I’ve always wanted to pick up a Hermes bracelet for my self to complement my S8 Hermes Watch but I’m not sure if it would fit my big wrists or not 😅

Maybe one day I’ll get a chance to try one on!

I have my eye on a Puzzle H - what is the clasp like - is it secure? That is holding me back as I am concerned it may open easily whilst wearing?

I would love to see your other girly things🤣 but I think others will think we are off topic. The 🍊addiction is real! I just bought the double tour gourmette band but haven’t decide on the actual AW SS or SBSS yet 🤦🏻‍♀️

Right?! 😆

I have that band in Fauve Barenia and Noir. I love them both. My watch is SBSS. Absolutely no regrets. For me the SBSS reads as the full face of the watch. Not a black watch with a black face so it works. I’d never mix the other way around (SS with black hardware) unless maybe the band was also black.

Yep, thanks! I carry my laptop and food and sometimes even a big ass bottle of water so I went with canvas. And I like the structure of the canvas over the leather.

Imagine the Kilim in this color or Anemone! 😍

I have the orange single tour, orange Hermes sports band and orange Kilim. For me they are not interchangeable. I only wear sports bands while doing sporty things. I wear the leather with both casual and dressy outfits. I've been wearing the Kilim almost daily, but wouldn't wear it with something too dressy.

I did wear the orange Kilim swimming the other day but I probably wouldn't do it again. It just felt wrong lol. It's sportier than a leather band but it's not a sports band.

To me the Kilim is the perfect work from home band. Dresses up the watch without taking away the fact you are at home and dressed down from the office.

I would say no. Others may know more, but it looks like a dummy band for Display purposes. And display is even spelt wrong lol. The leather doesn't look right in the pictures either.

EDIT:

Also, no way Hermes glue their bands:

Screenshot 2023-11-01 at 12.42.45.png

EDIT2:

Just checked and they do, but this looks wrong IMO.

Is there any info on the underside of the box? Maybe the weird look is because it’s the old noir band in “box” leather?

We know they faked 18k gold for the sake of the display case but I don’t think they would need to cut corners in an Hermes store or Hermes-wealthy Apple Store? Given we now know Apple thinks Hermes leather is worth 30 bones.

@athousandbands Are the Kilim deployment bands easier or more difficult to manage than the leather deployment bands. I find the Kilim ones very easy to manage. I am considering a leather one, but not if it is more difficult.

I don’t have a kilim, but I find the leather clasp very buttery and easy and I imagine the softer band material is even easier than a rubber?
