I checked their eBay and they had another kilim in there that looked to be authentic and the pin/hook was correct on it. My guess is they sourced it from someone and didn’t pay attention and realize it’s a fake clasp. Check this listing from them. Yeah that one seems to have the proper hook. What a bizarre case study this has turned out to be.
May I call @Stella_Fudge to the stage to offer her expertise on the shininess of the belly of the lug button on the bands in question?
Got my orange Kilim and S10 at the Michigan Ave store last week. Still can’t source a Grand H (I need 42mm in small and then we pray that that is small enough), but I’ll try Hermes and Apple in Seoul next week.

Realistically, I would like an additional hole on my band so I could have it sit lower on my wrist — but I’m not taking any chances with the rubber etc etc.

Looking good! Orange Kilim is killer.
Also the Grand H has two links that can be removed tool free but a couple more of the same sized links held on with standard bracelet pins that you or a jeweler can remove with tools if you need it smaller. So I wouldn’t worry about it being too big if your wrist size is below the maximum size range they list for the small.
Congrats on the new watch! Heads up the lug for the band doesn’t appear to be locked into the watch body in those pictures. Would hate for a brand new watch to fall off 😬
They cannot lock, as the band appears to be 46mm. They are portruding on both sides. I would exchange it immediately.
That last picture is quite the optical illusion if you don’t look closely
Looks like it’s the correct size. The left edge of the lug appears to be inside the lug channel while the right edge edge is sticking out.

If the 46mm small is any indication the 42mm Grand H will be tight. I barely fit into it though I am on the 3rd hole of a 46mm Kilim.
The Deployment mechanism is a bit thicker on the Grand H than the Kilim.
Also see if Hermes on Oak Street can place an order. They came through when my Grand H band broke (a few screws came out of the deployment mechanism).
Since the arrival of the Radian face, I haven’t used the OG Hermes face much. Forgot how much I like the Espace typeface! The Encre background also pairs nicely with the Fauve single tour.
There are not many fake ones around. They do not have that that "poke" part at the back to remove links. Ask for an original image from the side. Towards the "H"-link the original gets slightly thicker and wider. Thickness and size are identical on all links of the fake ones.
Five or more of us on this thread have bought Hermes bands from this seller. Unfortunately your take has missed the mark (twice).
I’ve personally gotten 10-15 bands from him since last season. My best guess is these are samples from Apple HQ.
If you followed this thread and didn’t just jump in guessing wildly, everyone would benefit.
And the ultimate price on the Grand is even better than 200 off lol

lol the titanium Apple Card was not made with “use” in mind, just pure beauty. Wonderful piece you’ve got there, though.
Apple employees apparently get a larger discount than this on it. As usual for corporate perks I’m sure employees are not allowed to profit off of discounted goods so in order for anything to be resold without penalty or termination, it has to be done at cost or for less. That holds up here with the pricing when you figure in the fees eBay takes.
Also I got my Bleu Céleste Kilim from them (which afaik still hasn’t shown up from other sellers) and it’s the real deal.
Based upon whose observation? Yours!! It’s used so it should be cheaper. Extremely reliable dealer. Did you ever make purchase from them?
