I can't wait for the indigo/craie/orange swift single tour! but I'm not sure if that's too flashy for the office...

OK... I'm leaning 80% towards the link bracelet. It's justifiable now that it's the same price as a Hermes single tour hahaha

I kind of want the Indigo/craie/orange swift, it's totally my style, since I'm sticking with S3 for another year.

Does anyone know if the few Apple Stores that were carrying the Hermès watches will have any in stock on Friday? I ordered the 44mm Fauve Barenia but kind of leaning more towards the Indigo/Craie/Orange Swift and would rather just swap them in-store on Friday then cancel and wait till October.

Go for it! It looks amazing.

It’s also great that this year the new bands aren’t restricted to the purchase of the watch and you can get them separately from day 1.

If they released the Eperon d’or last year separately I would’ve bought the hell out of that

I was planning to do another Apple Store Tysons Corner McLean, VA pickup with my AW4 Hermes but the in-store pickup option wasn't available during pre-order this past Friday.

Last year I picked up my Fauvre Barnia in store and was hoping to exchange it for the Blue Indigo or Éperon d'Or but they had didn't have any in stock in any style.

They may receive some for stock but might be weeks post launch.

Well, we now know this: the Hermès S3 with WatchOS 5 does not have the new two-tone watchface.

I still hope it’s not just restricted to the clown watch.

That isn't surprising. The Roman numeral Hermes face was a Series 3 exclusive. It's not a big deal to me, as I like the faces we have now.

That combo looks great!

Do you guys find yourself wearing the link bracelet or Hermès leather bands more often? Or do you wear the link bracelet only on special occasions?

Can’t decide between this and Milanese loop... the Milanese looks less bulky but the link bracelet gives the Watch a completely different feel and look
I think the Milanese loop is more formal looking than the link. Just my opinion. Only problem with it is if you have any arm hair and I mean any, it can be painful to put on. Wearing it though is fine.

The link is heavy and doesn't breath as well either. Both are solid choices but the Link costs way more.

My suggestion: Get both! Get the Milanese one from apple and get a knock off link from amazon (https://www.amazon.com/KADES-Stainl...-1-spons&keywords=apple+watch+band+link&psc=1) [only $20]. The quality varies drastically from vendor to vendor so do your research if you buy a knock off. My buddy has a knock off and it matches my OEM one other than the system to remove/add links.
[doublepost=1537230417][/doublepost]Updated to wOS 5 on my series 2. Sadly it does not include the new colorful Hermes watch face. I believe this is because Apple doesn't want to highlight how large the borders are on the older watches due to how the colors go right up to the edge.

I agree, I like the Milanese loop a lot, it's definitely more formal looking for either gender. Breathable, and stays in-place easily.

I used to wear link watches before Apple Watch, haven't looked back. It's either Silicone, leather, or Milanese!

Thanks for the review! I'm gonna order the Milanese loop and try it out and see how it fits it with the Hermes S4 :D

Has anyone’s shipment status changed in Canada? I ordered two and one is preparing for shipment for a day now and one is still processing. Unable to locate through UPS myChoice. I’m starting to worry sending it to my work delays it....

Thanks! I like the SS link a lot - I’m used to wearing mechanical watches and the weighty feeling.

Now that it’s $100 less, I’m going to order another as a spare. It’s been durable and only have a minor scruff when I brushed it against my MBP. The easy of adjusting the links, precision of the design, and quality of the bracelet is amazing.

I’ll probably rock the bracelet more in the summer time, because of the heat and humidity, and back to the Hermès leather bands in winter - especially the new indigo/craie/orange swift single tour.

I hardly wear the Milanese because I’ve worn it on the S0 for years. What I do like about the Milanese is that I can wear it and not worry about getting it wet or being rough with it.

Thinking the same way as yourself,

As apple will likely re-release the link bracelet in a 44mm format do you think its worth waiting if the size changes?

The new 44mm format is the same as the old 42mm one. They’re not going to redesign all the straps and reissue them.

I just ordered the Link (arrives today) because they dropped the price and hid it under “view previous collections” and I think they may drop it altogether.

Are we sure that the newer model of straps aren't ever so slightly wider?

No. But I’d be astonished if they are. That would be a huge fail for Apple.

I just found it strange that they have relegated the link bands to "previous band" status when they had watches on show with the link bands at the "gather around" event. It doesn't make sense if there has been no change to the bands. But then...this is apple and not everything makes sense.

Yeah, pretty weird by Apple to be honest when the SS was proudly sporting a link bracelet at the event.

It was indeed — and the Link bracelet seemed to fit perfectly. If they'd made a new one, surely they'd be selling it. I'm pretty confident the new watch has exactly the same size "slots" for the straps as the old one did. It just wouldn't make sense for it not to do so.

Is there any advatage to buy the normal watch over the nike+ or hermès? I mean, besides the bands.

Or is always better to buy these two because they have more watch faces?

That depends if you want the watch faces... It is cheaper to buy a SS watch and a Hermes band than the Hermes watch.

Does anyone know how to track our already shipped watches to the UK? As I said before I have a DPD number but no tracking comes up - which to me suggests that it is coming from China and the DPD tracking is when it arrives here.

Just wanted to let people know anyone who's looking for the feu epsom with the watch, it is available to be purchased from the Hermes website directly. Seems weird Apple website doesn't offer this option.

I have a couple Hermès leather straps and Milanese from the S0 SS but get the most compliments on the SS link bracelet combo.

That looks sharp.

I'm getting a 40mm S4 Hermes for my wife, and I've already purchased a polished Juuk Revo stainless bracelet for it since they are on sale.

https://www.juukdesign.com/product-page/38mm-polished-revo

I think the combination of the polished case on the Apple watch with the polished metal bracelet is going to be da bomb, especially for a woman with the smaller Apple Watch.

I didn't think I would, but man do I love that Indigo Bleu Leather band and watchfaces. Preorder is in and I cancelled my Stainless Milanese. As another commenter said I decided to cancel it due to hairy arms. Those things hurt when you put them on and if they're any bit loose they pull on hair sort of like a wife plucking your eyebrows with a set of tweezers! But I digress, I'm excited... now to wait.
