Does anyone have both the orange En Mer and the orange Alpine? I’d love to see them side by side!

My quick snapshot—apologies for the harsh lighting. Alpine orange is a brighter orange as shown in the 2nd pic with more neutral lighting.

Hermès orange En Mer is a shade darker than Alpine, Kilim and stock Hermès orange sport band.

Ordered this from Hermes a few days ago before it went out of stock. Coming tomorrow. Noticed this colour band wasn’t offered on the ultra 3 from apple directly, is it an old band? I really like the colour

Ahhh, 😭

Ja, it's the Bleu Hyrda strap that was released in 2024 Spring 2025. Sigh, if only Hermès USA had offered this HU3 combo.

Just one day short of my five years of ownership of my Series 6, I decided to take advantage of Apple Care and drop it off at the Genius Bar for battery servicing. Its capacity has been sub-80% for awhile now, dropping to 69% a few weeks ago. I'm not sure what to expect in terms of how long it should take for me to get it back but it'll be nice to have it not hit the single digits about 12 hours after I first put it on. For the time being I'm wearing another aluminum Series 6 that I use for sleep tracking and workouts. Feels weird not having the heft of the SS case on my wrist all day, but I guess I'll have to manage.

Has anyone here had their watch's battery serviced and how long it took til you received it back? I know every situation is different, I'm just curious about others' experiences are generally like.

I don't know about Apple Care. But when my Hermes AW S7 battery health dipped below 80% to 79% I took it for servicing. I didn't have Apple Care. They charged me around $100 for repair. Then told me no repair is possible, they will have to source a brand new Hermes S7 for me. Which they did. Turnaround was quick.

I assume this is what will happen to your watch as well. They will give you a brand new Hermes S6 (just the watch, no bands). So in your case, they probably won't charge that $100. Smart call, you should have replaced the battery sooner so you can enjoy your watch. It's a pain to have to charge 2-3 times a day.

Yeah, because of Apple Care the cost to me was $0, and it didn't take long while I was at the Genius Bar. He had me run diagnostics from my iPhone that connected to the watch, then he looked at the results on his iPad, filled some digital paperwork out, took several photos of the watch, had me sign a form, and that was it.

I look forward to getting my watch back, I was so used to wearing it every day for five years!

Question for anyone with the Gris Scuba band - on mine there is a significant color mismatch between the lugs and the buckle. The lugs match the lighter finish of the Ultra 3 but the finish of the buckle is noticeably darker. Is this normal / intentional? When looking at the stock photos on the Apple and Hermes websites, the color of the lugs and buckle both appear to match the lighter finish of the U3.

Thank you! Very helpful and exactly what I was looking for. Given I have the other two, not sure I need the orange En Mer…

Anyway, you all should be very proud, my first-ever Hermes (series 11, Faubourg Party) is coming Monday. It will nicely complement my beloved Ultra (original version) - I’m basically thinking it will be most days at work (Ultra can sometimes be bulky under business shirt sleeves) and for other nice events (plus sleeping!) while the ultra remains my workout and general casual days watch. Can’t wait to match all my existing Hermes bands with the watch they’re supposed to go with (although most work pretty well with the ultra I think).

On mine the look the same to me. Here’s a couple of pics.

Thanks - to my eyes the buckle of yours still appears slightly darker. Here's mine:

My Gris Scuba’H arrived today from Apple Store and the color of my buckle and lugs also seem to match.

What I have noticed on my 2 En Mer bands is that the buckle looks darker, until I put the buckle next to the connector - then it looks the same. Very strange.

Quick follow-up impressions on the Scuba'H:

Initially when I tried on the Scuba'H at the Apple Store, the strap material felt rough, not smooth or soft. The one, I received today, washed away my previous concerns in regards to material and texture. Exterior and interior side of the strap is nicely smooth and strap "disappears" when worn. Also the new titanium buckle is *chef's smooch* 😘👨‍🍳

It's very comfortably durable and perfect for today's hot day in the WDC (DC / MD / VA) area. Warm grey color is the 👌🏼 companion to HU3.

Definitely coping another if they release an orange Scuba'H.

Maybe I'm colorblind. In certain light mine looks a little lighter (pics with/without flash below) but I swear the buckle is still darker 😅

Side note, anyone else find that the crown on the U3 is mushier and way less "clicky" than the U2/U1?
