Hermès Edition Owners Thread

I pulled the trigger and ordered the Hermes AWU 3 with blue En Mer. This will be my first Hermes AW and I am definitely excited for its arrival. I am thoroughly enjoying this thread. I'm trying to decide if I want to pick up a Hermes leather band or another En Mer...

Those with the En Mer, do you sleep in it? I’ve been putting on the Kilim or Orange Sports band to sleep with as not sure of the En Mer durability at night

Ja, I rotate my En Mer daily or every other day and worn all 3 of my En Mer while sleeping with no issues with durability. They're perfect and comfortable since the straps nice and breathable during the night.

Once a week or every other week, I give them a wipe down with lightly damp soft terry cloth or microfiber with a drop free-n-clear liquid dish soap.

Great choice! For the ultra I‘d go with another En Mer.. the leather bands are too narrow imo, especially on the ultra it looks a bit off.

I have seen a packaging of the Ultra 3 Hermès - the packaging looks like the Ultra 2 Hermès. No anniversary packaging.

... oh - first read all the messages, then answer. There are already photos of it.

But as you can chose the band you want to have, you will get the anniversary packaging with all Series 11 Hermès, not only with the Faubourg Party band.

Thoughts on the gris titane scub? I definitely am interested in another en Mer, but find the scuba interesting.

I’ve seen unboxing videos on YT of Series 11 without the special packaging, always with one of the other bands. That’s why I asked.

This is indeed strange. I did not know about the special packaging and was surprised - they did not have any other packaging for the 11 in the Store. there are three boxes: the outer one, the watch box and the band-box. The Series 11 only comes in the special box. Strange...
 
The anniversary packaging, including the paperwork in the 10th-anniversary theme, only comes with the Faubourg Party band. I had to wait a bit longer for that one — my other option was the Toile H band, but that one didn’t include the anniversary packaging. So I decided to wait a little longer, and since this certainly isn’t my first Hermès, I’m very grateful to have received the anniversary edition this time.



In a way, the Hermès Ultra 3 is a bit disappointing. They basically took the standard Ultra 3, added a few watch faces, and didn’t even include the Faubourg Party face. If you compare that to the Series 11, that one clearly feels like a Hermès model — with a silver tone not available in the regular lineup. For the Ultra 3, Hermès could at least have polished the case to a high gloss to make it stand out more from the regular Ultra. And please, give the Hermès Ultra 3 all the watch faces from the other Hermès Apple Watches.

I understand your point on Ultra Hermès 3. Just bought it and I really like it. Only used regular Hermès models so far and I wanted to have the Maritime watchface and Ultra Hermès straps.
It’s funny you talk about the glossy case.. I’m switching between regular model and Ultra and I just noticed how I’m used to cleaning the polished case mainly because of fingerprints:D don’t have to do that on the Ultra! Really like the wider straps too, especially the En Mer.. can wear it for everything, swimming sports casual etc..
All the watchfaces would be awesome, on the regular watch too.
I really like that the watches are different and just to have the option to choose/switch.
