Thanks for the reply, you pulled that look off very well. 20mm is actually really narrow, but suits the 38mm with that strap.

It's the same width as the Milanese loop. This band looks bigger than it is because it doesn't taper in like other leather bands.

It is my understanding that those spring adapters from Utica guy for the 38mm watch will only accommodate a 20mm band. I have them with a 20mm. I think the other style will take a 22mm band (for the 38mm watch).

He's usually very responsive. I know he's been very busy lately. Hang tight you'll be amazed once you receive his strap!
I'm waiting on another one. I'll post back when I get it :)

Yes beautiful skin! Really makes a watch stand out!

Any update? :) I've got an order in with him right now. Something a little crazy/fun.

Sorry to see that. That's what I was afraid of. That latch part is really poorly made.
And so far I've received no response to my letting him know what happened. I've heard people say he's great to deal with, so hoping he'll get back to me.

Was that an 'Utica' adapter? If so i will send Richard an email to see why your response was not dealt with. I had two of those that the locking spring with black rubber had popped out completely likes yours. He exchanged them promptly.

Yes, it is and I've not heard back from him. I really appreciate your offer to help and will gladly take you up on it as I'd like to get a replacement. I can send you the eBay transaction number in a message.

Strap from Aaron at Combat Straps. Aqua toad with yellow tribal stitching. I don't normally wear a bracelet with my watch, just wanted to see how it looks.

Here it is

My first impression...

Very well made, THICK and really stiff. Needs to be worn in which is to be expected for such a think strap.

Looks awesome! Question: What size did you go with? I see you are using the very 1st hole and the band looks snug. Did you measure your entire wrist and go with that sizing? my wrist measures 6.6" but wondering if i should go 7-7.5" instead of 6.5-6.9". Thanks!

Looks gorgeous! How do you like it so far?

I like it a lot. It's very different and unique. I had originally planned to get the lime green toad with yellow stitching, but he was out of green. I think it probably worked out for the best as I like the blue. The only hitch was that he forgot to include the adapters, but I had a set at home, so just used those. Now the problem is that I want to order another! I think the next one will be either stingray with pink accents or ostrich leg in either red or orange. Did you get your band?

Not yet. I'm getting something more particular this time. I asked for a few items! I'll keep you posted when I get everything!

As for your next one, the ostrich are tempting me as well! Love that skin!

Do you follow him on Instagram? He has a green ostrich that looks great too. Next time, I am going to go for the deployment clasp. May I ask, are you getting all this for the Apple watch or something else?

I went with the smallest strap they had. My reasoning behind such a small strap is because I knew these straps are Thick and Chunky. I wanted a minimal amount of left over strap after the buckle. Did that make sense? In retrospect, I should have gone with the next size up, but I'm very happy with how it fits.

Here is my new band for 1 weeks. Italian hand made 24mm ColaReb Venezia Green Distressed Leather, Watch Shoppe adapters, and RHD 22mm polished deployant. ~$122 total shipped. Leather is thick (3.5mm, 120mm x 70mm L), but really soft. It looks and feel like leather, but soft enough to form the wrist in 1-2 days. Watch Shoppe adapters is exactly as original Apple CB adapter in term of quality and fitment. They even use Apple like pentalobe screw, and come with a small pentalobe screwdriver. RHD polished deployant is just the best deployant I experience. light, solid, and small profile button, with very light click for easy lock/unlock. And I could not feel any discomfort poking to my wrist even after extensive wearing.

I don't always wear a pink sweater, but when I do I pair it with a grey stingray band with minimal fuchsia stitching from Combat Straps. :)
