Any new discoveries here? It looks like the really good bands are very hard to find. LV is a no go for me:). Did somebody order and received Lucrin?

Someone in the lady's only thread received the Lucrin double tour. Looks really nice. I am hoping Santa brings another band or two from Aaron at Combat Straps. If you follow him on Instagram you'll see tons of what he does. I've not ordered custom from anyone else. These look nice too. I like the look of the lime green one and the pink. https://toshi-straps.co.uk

Santa is going to bring me a brown leather strap from The Strapsmith to use as my main strap. In the meantime I've been using a red leather strap from Lucrin. The leather is quite thick but softens up nicely and is really nice and soft leather. I chose the soft plain leather.

I purchased a few bands from Aaron on CombatStraps. The guys is exceptional. Amazing service, and the quality is out of this world. He's very well known in the high end strap market.

I would not hesitate a second to purchase one from him if I was you.

My last band from him was an alligator chocolate with light blue stitching. They are the most expensive, but the material and built quality is tremendous. Here's a pic when I received it (sorry for the pic quality, it's a screenshot from my Instagram account).

As mentioned here's the pic. I've worn the strap for over 3 years now!

Here's a few more pics! :)

Has anyone bought from DaLuca Straps? http://www.dalucastraps.com I was just on their site and saw a number of "Apple Watch" bands they have that I would love to buy for my husband when he buys his watch. BTW they sell adapters and an Apple Watch screw driver through their site (Under their FAQ they say you need a Pentalobe 5 star 0.8 (TS1, aka P2) screwdriver tool).

I wonder if these higher end watch band sellers are buying the OEM adapters.

I have not but have looked at the site in the past and the stuff looks nice.

How is the comfort of the buckle and bands from combat straps? I am looking for a leather band, and my main focus is to get something that is very comfortable to wear.

What is nice about his stuff is it is all custom. As such, I would recommend telling him that comfort is very important as he might have a suggestion and can make sure the fit is precise. I find all the bands comfortable but the stingray particularly so. I like the regular buckle as I find it slightly more comfortable than the deployant clasp, but I have a small wrist.

All the Combat Straps I have are very comfortable. Never had an issue with itching or anything. Of course leather and other materials alike take a few days to "break in" and fit your wrist properly, but that's standard with these materials.

You can check the Combat Straps topic for some pics: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/combat-straps.1938406/
