Black leather Hoco band arrived half hour before my watch! Feels good quality- certainly smells like leather!!

Link where you purchased from would be nice. Like the band. Can I get it in the U.S?

Can anyone tell me the length of the bracelet.

It states 181mm and I have just measured my wrist which is 185mm but is the 181mm from the one joining to the other in which case I will be fine as I will have the 42mm additional length the apple watch gives or is 181mm including the apple watch joined??

Quick question to all of you that own the 3 bead hoco band, do you have it tight on your wrist or loose? I removed two links from both sides and the watch sits good on my wrist but slightly tight and if I remove one link from one side and two links from the other side it's sort of loose moving up and down on my wrist, wish the band had a micro adjustment but it is what it is, I rather have it slightly tight than loose moving up and down on my wrist

I removed 3 links and its not loose, but not tight either. There is a little play but the watch doesn't move around my wrist either.

When you take the watch off your wrist after a day of the watch being on your wrist does the hoco band leave a slight mark on your wrist? (Which fades away of course after a few minutes)

You may be wearing your band too tight if it leaves marks on you.

It seems that you are between links with the Hoco band (same problem I had with the original Apple Stainless Steel Link Bracelet), and the Hoco band also does not allow for micro adjustments in the clasp. However I did find a Hoco band with a traditional clasp which allows micro adjustments (post 200 in this thread). https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/hoco-band.1882670/page-8#post-21389747

Since posting, the price has dropped on eBay. I ordered mine up for $15.95 without the adaptors or $32 with the adaptors. This band might work for you.

Haven't got a link band yet but if it's slightly too small for your wrist, you can always order a second one after you get it and use it for extra links if required. Not as cheap as just one band but still cheaper than the Apple link bracelet!

Just measured my Hoco band and it is 181mm from lug to lug. So the band will be fine for you as once you include the 42mm watch, you have a total length of 223mm.

they sell them in china, saying the 42 will fit between 140 and 205mm. i suspect it may even be a little bigger than that.

Is he Hoco just a rebrand of many other bands going? I didn't see anyone who'd tried a black band on their sgs watch.

I saw his one in the USA and looking at the buckle it seems like it can be micro adjusted?

Can anyone confirm? (Multiple holes by buckle)

http://m.ebay.com/itm/311372986246?nav=SEARCH

It really looks like the Hoco brand is just a rebrand of the same band selling elsewhere for half the price or less

http://m.ebay.com/itm/121671457435?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20150519202348%26meid%3D4b43f8768c2849b9b0269c1122c1de0c%26pid%3D100408%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D25%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D311372986246&_trksid=p2056116.c100408.m2460&varId=420677139651

And considering they're all coming out of China I highly doubt there's a huge amount of variance once you pass three or so different types from here factories. The rest is replace a buckle and brand it no?

eBay is so disingenuous it's impossible to assume any pictures are what you actually get. So I'm open to anyone who found a half decent affordable black stainless

I've ordered one but it's delayed. I don't think they've actually been made yet, hence why we haven't seen them!

I ordered a different bracelet in space grey but I'm starting to think I maybe should have ordered it in black. Looks just like the hock with an adjustable clasp and no branding

nope, those links you gave are totally different from the HOCO, those looks exactly like the ones ive seen around for Pepple watch years ago. And they were selling for like 6$ to 10$ each. The prices on your links are way more expensive. Trust me , these links comes apart in a matter of days, the pins are horrible...

I have a tiny wrist - measures 140 MM and I removed all the links I could from the 3 bead for the 38 MM and it is loose but I like the look better. I've only had it lock a few times despite the fact it moves freely up and down my wrist. This is how I normally wear my watches b/c my wrists are so small it's hard to get them adjusted that tight - even my rolex.

Cheers,
Bobbie

My three bead fits perfectly for me. It's just loose enough that I can slide it up or down about an inch but it will pretty much stay wherever I put it.

Now my five bead, on the other hand, is either way too loose or too tight. It's a shame because it my favorite out of the two.

Which one do you like more? 5 or 3 beads?

do you recommend to get both?

Hard to say. The three bead is heavier and the band is a bit wider than the five bead. I like the look of the five bead more but the three bead fits better so I wear it more. I say get both if you can. They're both well worth it.

I absolutely prefer it over the Apple link band. The tolerances may not be as tight on the connector, but the overall look is far superior in my humble opinion. I'm sure The Apple link band is made of the finest Valerian steel, but it doesn't matter to me because it looks like a stretchy band from a $25 drugstore watch. Add to that, the crazy $450 price tag and the HOCO is a no-brainer for me.

http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Wa...eel-Expansion-Band-Watch/5156943/product.html

It's a totally different style band from what I have seen. Like comparing Apple's to oranges. And I don't think Apple's looks like a Timex.

Yeah, that's not the same as the Hoco at all. The clasp is a completely different style and the links are different as well. Look at the bottom of the one that was posted and it seems that the links are actually hollow since there's a seam on the bottom.

Thanks for clarifying all.

I ordered a thre bead hoco from Amazon, the price dropped 20% and I had a gift card...I hink it was 5-10 more than if I shopped and waited for it to ship

I'm wondering if the five bead is out in black.

I had the pebble band (not the new premium one) and I'm hoping the hoco is better made than pebbles band

I think I prefer the look of the five bead but I really can't find it in black anywhere.

In the images it looks pretty good but I haven't really seen black on a sgs yet

Hopefully the three bead will satisfy my needs

I just got my Hoco 5 bead and within a few minutes the gold piece fell out. I found it on floor and put in but I must be missing spring as it doesn't click in properly now. I am now arguing with the seller and he is trying to tell me that I should just order some universal lugs but I am trying to explain that they are not the same as the 5 bead which uses the spring pin vs. the screws, which is one of the main reasons I wanted the 5 bead.

Build quality is junk... anyone says that they have no problem means that they are just lucky... if you change bands often in the future it will most likely fall apart. The 3 bead Hoco band I got - the adapters seem built a bit better as far as the spring thing but I wouldn't be surprised if those fall apart with repeated band changes.

These are a perfect match for the five bead. My seller reimbursed me $15 to buy them so I wouldn't have to send it back.

This is the pice that tends to fall out on the five bead.
