Was it easy to take the links out when you received the HOCO band? How did you do it?
Thanks
This one comes with a tool to let you remove the links yourself

I agree with the 'loop' look for the other one. I considered this one you posted but that picture (#6 on eBay on the wrist) had me a bit hesitant seeing how the attachment doesn't appear to be parallel to the watch case itself...
i posted these elsewhere but i figured i'd post them in the thread where they're relevant. Here are pictures of my red HOCO leather bands with the included strap.

Man, I wish they made a BLACK Stainless steel band, I'd buy that in a heartbeat for my 42mm SG Sport.
Sounds like a terrible idea, to be honest. Even the proper black stainless (unless it's DLC) will wear off pretty quickly. But spraypaint? But in the back of my head I'm entertaining the idea of maybe spray painting it black?

Anyone receive the 5 bead band yet?
Added this to the metal link bracelet thread, but since it seems appropriate for this thread as well.

Got my Hoco stainless bracelet today. I'm extremely happy with it so far. I took two links out of it and it seems just about perfect (snug but not tight), but I'll have to see if that changes any throughout the day, etc.. I just referred to a Youtube video about removing links and was able to do it with some tools I scrounged around the house.

I've never worn a watch with a metal band before, so this is new to me, but I think the quality is pretty good -- particularly for the price. You can get about a dozen of these bands for the price of the Apple one. The connectors are a little harder to attach to the watch than the ones on the sport band, but that might be because the band is metal rather than rubber. In any case, they seem secure.

The only real complaint I have is that it attaches via a bar rather than something that's a bit more integrated with the watch, but I don't think most people would even notice that if they were looking at the watch from a normal distance.
I've got very hairy arms (deal with it haters!) and so far I haven't had any trouble with the band pulling at my hair, which was a worry of mine.
Best pics I've seen of this one so far! Looks great on your wrist. As I've mentioned my only pet peeve is that bar, but otherwise it looks great.Added this to the metal link bracelet thread, but since it seems appropriate for this thread as well.

I ordered a Hoco 5 bead band (for my 38mm) on eBay. Hong Kong seller. Just got a notice that my order was cancelled because it is on back order. Looks like a lot of sellers are listing the 38 as out of stock.
Anyone have one on the way?
When did you order? All the eBay ones say June is when they'll ship. Link?
As I posted in another thread, I was contacted by the seller I ordered from that he was getting ready to ship when he was notified by the manufacturer of a problem with the 38mm version and they were told to send them back pending a corrected version. I was offered the original version or a refund. I don't like the hacked-on look of the bands on the bar adapters, so I got a refund.
I have ordered this hoco band from Amazon can't wait to get it, I'm going to be installing it on my space gray sport version should be a unique combination with the space gray
Just received mine for my space gray sport! Feels really solid. I think the combo looks nice.

Btw the 5 bead version looks terrible with the thick last link that connects to the watch, the way it looks on the hand is just not right in my opinion, the three bead version looks fantastic just beautiful.
