closest Apple Store is around 8 hour drive. nearest reseller is bout 3 1/2 hour drive...live in the middle of nowhere i guess. South Dakota for you....

i have 3 within 10 minutes from where i live. irvine, newport beach, and costa mesa.

ive been to all three of those stores.. i always try to go to at least one of them while im down there (irvine) visiting family.. i like the newport beach one.. it has the old exterior.. (the old black with white apples if i remember right..)

and as of my closest apple store, its about a 20 minute drive. (fashion fair)

About 30 miles, but it's a small mall store, so not nearly as fun as the free standing ones.

Woohoo!!!!!!!! starting this Saturay on will be so close to one. I am so excited..

From work: 3 mins (walking maybe 10mins) .94 miles

From home: 22 mins. 14.50 miles

This is all per mapquest.
You know where I will be this saturday morning. ;)

1-2 hours, depending on traffic I guess. I'll be making my first trip there (St. Louis, Missouri - The Galleria location) to get a Montevina MBP soooon. (Right Apple? Soon?)

About 20 minutes from home, and conveniently, I pass it up on my drive home from work (there's literally a highway exit that goes right into the mall parking lot, that's how close), so if I ever need to go there, I go after work.

The Galleria right? How has your experience there been?

West County.

Experience has been fine I guess. I usually go in knowing exactly what I want to buy so I haven't dealt much with the salespeople other than handing over my credit card. FWIW, the West County location is bigger than the Galleria one (but it's still small compared to the flagship ones other cities have)

I'm just curious, where are you from that you have that long of a drive?

The closest for me right now is about 20 miles away (Arden Fair Mall, Sacramento); however, Apple is supposedly opening a new store this fall that'll only be three miles up the road (Galleria Mall, Roseville). :)

I'm nyc 1 hour subway. Not that long if you've got something to read. But when you get there...the wait doesn't end.

I swear though, the Apple store there must have some homeless people or something go use the free internet. You know what I mean, it's like they're really dirty and stink and they park there and do their things for like an hour or more. And some people like work on their resumes, and do their emailing and video work, etc. It's so anoying. Then you got these kids who treat it like a arcade. LOL So when you get there you have to wait forever and hope the person nearest to you leaves a "terminal" so you can step right into it if you want to check out a computer or specs on something.

1 mile by car according to Google Maps, or 0.7 miles by foot.

Takes just over 10 minutes to walk there. One Tube stop* if I'm carrying something heavy :)

* which tells you the store too ;)

I can leave work and be at the Towsontown Apple Store in under 10 minutes. From home, I'm 40 minutes or so from Towsontown or the one in Christiana Mall in Delaware.
Close enough to have access when necessary, barely far enough away to avoid sudden impulsive over-spending.

5-10 minute walk. Another one less than an hour.

I hope whenever I move I can go somewhere where it's just as convenient. I plan on moving either to the South Bay area or Long Beach, so I know one will be close. I just like being able to walk to the store if I need to.

Theres a reseller here not bestbuy called machelper and they have some macs setup with chairs very welcoming and they fix and referb older macs and sell them as well... and for bestbuy i shall not buy another computer from them again.

About 20 minutes to Keystone. Since I spend a lot of time in Germany and Switzerland, though, I'm still waiting for them to pull their act together on that side of the pond.
