I'm spoiled.

From my house:
#1: 3.8 miles
#2: 8.4 miles
#3: 16.2 miles
#4: 20.6 miles
#5: 23.9 miles
#6: 28.6 miles
#7: 49.9 miles

In the likely case I need to go to a eighth Apple Store, it's only 77.1 miles away. :p

I live 1.3 miles from the Apple store in West Quay, Southampton. I can't wait to splash the cash in that store the day the new macbooks get released! I hate playing the waiting game!

I live in Southampton too (well, just about 20 Minutes away.) At our school, Macs are known as iPod Computers or Apple store computers and there only known function is taking pictures with Photo Booth and putting them on Bebo.

Currently it's about 2 and a half hours drive, 93 miles or so :)apple: Glasgow)... hopefully when Apple open a store in Edinburgh it would cut my journey in half! :D

Still.. theres always the Online Apple Store, right in front of me!

There's a new one in Cambridge, which is about an hour away. But I prefer to buy stuff online, or from John Lewis...

There is one right in Tampa. (Where I live.)

Although when the iPod Touches came out last year, I heard some stores were selling them early. I called Tampa and they had one. I got lost trying to find the damn store. What did I do? Why, I called the Orlando store. They had only a few left. Once I told them I'd be driving from Tampa, they held one for me.

After 2 hours, a tank of gas, $425 and a dinner with the GF as a thank you for going with me I had my iPod Touch a few weeks before most people.

That is why on my signature, it says week 1. I like to think of it as a mark of pride.

No one here from the Connecticut area? Come on.

I live in Shelton, CT right now, and I'm within the area of 4  stores:

 Danbury Fail Mall, Danbury, CT (~40 mins away by car, longer by train due to insane transfer times...)

 Stamford, Stamford, CT (~45-50 mins by train to the Stamford train station, then like a 15 min walk to Stamford Town Center, Stamford's small mall)

 The Westchester, White Plains, NY (~1hr or so from Shelton, but from the Danbury, CT area it's a little less, since you can go from Brewster, NY [nearest NY town to Danbury] and take the the Metro-North train to White Plains, and then you can either walk to the mall, or take their awesome {no sarcasm intended} bus system.

 West Farms (~?... I've never been to that store from anywhere [i.e. Danbury or Shelton])

...and then of course you have the 3 NYC stores, that many of you already mentioned. From Shelton, CT it takes a few hours (of course depending on the transfer times if taking the train). Variable if driving, since of course it's NYC.

I know this wasn't part of the topic, but what the hell... I'll mention my fav stores:

 Danbury Fair Mall,  Fifth Avenue, and  Stamford.
