I'm sure Apple will destroy everyone expectations, at least in Marketing. We will be blown away with what the 11 can do. Until pixel 4 arrives, then the reality strikes us.
You mean Face ID, iPhone had that since 2017.

Quite the opposite, actually. The list of ‘supply chain leaks’ has been extremely minimal this year, only showing a few internals/casing of the iPhone, and even the Apple Watch barely leaked anything.
From the start, Apple already designed their release pattern to match typical 2 year contracts, so it is expected for people to at least only get every other iPhone, not sooner. So I'm sure Apple knew that most people would just get a new iPhone every 2, 3 years or even longer. The illussion of people upgrading each year are due to the noisy youtubers changing their phones (by using review units) every few months.i skipped iPhone 3G and iPhone 6s---
Im certain I'm skipping the 2019 version as well. I don't want to but i have a 512 xs max that i got on launch day for $1500 and to upgrade for minimum features...would be dumb.
I think Apple at this point is really just trying to convert as many people as they can into their eco system rather than holding their breath for us to upgrade each year
USB C and 5G are really the only upgrades i personally want and that's not gonna be here until 2020
apple should really drop the prices 20% they are going up every year even though technology is suppose to get cheaper it's like Apple acknowledges that but doesn't follow suit.
a TRUE surprise would be including a fast charger or airpods with certain models. that would make things worth it
That's cause the changes are so minimal.
Same for Apple Watch, just internal updates means there's not much to visually leak.
I don’t think a $20 fast charger is enough to buy a $1000 phone. But 20% off i could live withi skipped iPhone 3G and iPhone 6s---

This and lowlight camera are probably it for me.Just Apple Pencil support will do me fine.
Yeah, and are you willing to pay for tomorrow’s technology, today?
I suppose it’s today’s technology because there are manufacturers with phones already in the market with those features. Apple is a little behind the curve bringing those additions but that is often the case. Can you provide a literal example of what you’re referring to? Because I don’t see it that way, not when Apple is about to introduce reverse wireless charging, triple lens camera, etc. How was that ‘today’s technology’ when it’s not even announced yet?
Not really apple’s issue that they have an upgrade cycle in September while others like samsung have it in march/august time.I suppose it’s today’s technology because there are manufacturers with phones already in the market with those features. So what term do you suggest we use? The technology is current in terms of already being in the market so you don’t think it’s fair to refer to it as ‘todays technology’? What do we call it?Not really apple’s issue that they have an upgrade cycle in September while others like samsung have it in march/august time.
It’s certainly not future technology as it’s already out but there are clearly different levels of quailty for this technologySo what term do you suggest we use? A night sight mode with amazing cameras i will be happy with that...

Everything will look the same but with internal or color changes. Like it always is.
Boring...
Initially I predict big sales, but I feel demand will fall faster than before. How many times can Apple make improvements to the same old outdated and boring designs?
Oh... it’s flat instead of glossy!!!!! OMG I have to have it.
What I’d really like to see is someone stand up during the keynote and say c’mon Apple this is getting ridiculous.

I know that is not about the iPhone but I want apple to do an intel version of the emac and sell it to everyone not just education institutions.

Apple never tends to be the first to introduce a new feature, as an example, Samsung is usually a year ahead of them with some technological features. What I find about Apple, they create technologies in a different way that makes it unique for the user. In the world of tech, it’s never about being the first, it’s about making a lasting impression to the consumer.
I wasn’t even talking about quality as Apple often does it better anyway. I just said today’s technology meaning they are possibly introducing something that is already in the marketplace. It’s current, not brand new. It’s certainly not future technology as it’s already out but there are clearly different levels of quailty for this technology
Wether apple have mastered it better than the comp we will see in a few weeks. Rumours are it’s suppose to be better but remains to be seen.
