iPad How good is the Smart Case for iPad Air 2?

Here's some more pics of the $20 replica case from eBay.


The Apple logo is more printed on than deeply indented like the real one.


All the holes and cutouts align perfectly.


 
Thanks for the pics! Ordered one for myself and the version for the Mini (from the same seller) for the wife.
 
I received another from a different seller. This one was much cheaper at £7.90 delivered and the fit is identical to the other but the material feels different. This one was in black so not sure they are from the same manufacturer and just the colours vary or from a different supplier but I would be happy with either of these for the money. I still think the more expensive blue model feels the better but both of these cases show up the official case for fit and value for money.

I like the Air 2 (for the iPad Air 2) case a lot better than the original case for my iPad Air. It isn't that the overall design has improved. The original case had a large gap at the hinge end when closed. It too almost a year for the cover to break in. Same for the folding ability of the cover.

I also note that, so far, the folded cover doesn't fall flat when I'm using it to hold the iPad upright for movie viewing. The old one would just unravel and let the iPad fall backwards on my table.

The other issue I had with the original case seems to be gone on the new case. The edge of the back case, near the right side of the screen, seems stiffer. The original edge would flex if I held it in one hand.

Is the new Apple case for the iPad2 the best there is? I don't know as I'm not keen on spending any more money on it because this case does the job in a minimal (but not cheap) way. If anything I'll be looking for a bluetooth keyboard case.
 
i caved and ordered the "nicer" red case. Will let you guys know when I get it compared to the official air 2 case.
 
So I read and studied everything and decided I wanted the apple case. Got it today at Best Buy. Because the box only says IPad Air, confirmed with sales clerk I had the air 2 smart case. He checked and assured me it was.

Got it home and the camera hole doesn't line up.

Does everything else line up? Never had any alignment issues with the one I got, it was perfect in that regard.

No the volume covers are off too. I just hope this isn't an air 1 case. Going back soon as I can, hopefully for an exchange, I like the case

Is there a hole for the non-existent mute switch on the right side of the case? That would indicate that you got the air 1 case.
