First day at work off charge at 7am and at 15.45 still on 81% left

By now it’s normally down to 40%

I am 99% on giving the 11PM a chance. Battery life is a major factor for me. Between traveling, kids’ sports and now a boat.. I need all the battery life I can get.

I have never given the Max a chance but I think I will this week. I also skipped the previous max for the RF issues. Hoping those are fixed.

What improvement battery life is still very poor try max brightness and fortnight it lasts only 2 hours

Things to keep in mind.

  • The new phones take time to optimize after a fresh setup / install. If you installed a few applications that tend to do lots of background processes (example - google photos that syncs in background), it can take a few days for things to settle down
  • We often don't see the best battery performance on the version of iOS that is released with the new phone.
  • While we are not in winter, climate and operating temperature will impact battery. My phone use in air conditioned or cool outdoor temps (Minnesota) are going to be far different than someone doing similar daily screen activity in high heat.
  • Lastly, most people comparing to the Max (including myself) are comparing a new phone with a device that is 1 year old.

Stop lying

i had my phone on full brightness most of the day and got over 6 hours screen time and still had 30% come time I went to bed.
He’s not lying. If you read his post he said full brightness with fortnight, a graphics intense game which chews through your battery. 2 hours is no surprise to me

so I got my phone late saturday night. i didn't take it off the charger until the next morning when i went to work.

off charger at 945am yesterday. died today at 1239 pm. i use low power mode the majority of the time, and low screen brightness. i change those up when i need to do something on my phone. i believe it said i had 16-17 hours of screen time. i sell phones so i had to use my phone a ton.

Youtube (streaming music and video)
iMessage
Social Media
Music
Phone calls
Texts
Managing email
showing customers stuff on my phone at work
Facetime

what i will try to pay attention to is how fast streaming video eats up the battery, as previous phones get killed by doing so. i dont game on my phone at all.

Ok, today I’ve been streaming video quite a bit. So far I’ve had 4.5 hours of screen on time, with 30% of that streaming video. Also did FaceTime for a bit.

Battery is at 79%. Wow!

Remember when checking for screen on time, the phone shows the last 24 hours of screen on time. So the number you’re seeing might carried over from yesterday, before you charged it.

I’m very interested in the 11 Pro Max battery life. That’s my number one concern when buying a new phone. Can anyone post some screenshots of your usage times?

8:30AM it’s not almost 10PM.. 5 hours SoT. Bunch of background streaming though. Sitting at 30%.

is there a wya to see since last full charge? I went and did the math going through the hours to make more accurate to when I took the phone off at 100% because I tend to always have it on some sort of charger
