The highest my phone battery ever been was 90% and that's when i first took it out the box. I charge my phone around 80-87 % since sunday and i am getting more than 24 hours battery life. I never let my phone die completely but I think you guys get my point.

I set my 11 Pro Max up Saturday night. Don't remember what it was at out of the box (maybe 80%), but used it on and off Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, and finally charging it for the first time today (Wednesday). Pretty impressive battery life IMO.

Stop lying

i had my phone on full brightness most of the day and got over 6 hours screen time and still had 30% come time I went to bed.
Agree. I was already down to like 83% when I tried to kill my phone to test the charge speed on 30W. Flashlight on, GPS on, Netflix on Cellular at full brightness and volume. I watched a bit of Croods and then switched to Return of the King and just got to the beginning of the credits before it died.

...how would you engineer the size of the 11 Pro Max battery into the physically smaller enclosure of the 11?

Enquiring minds want to know.
I’m sure Apple held back a bit on the size of the battery in the 11 to distance it from the max. The size of the 11 is obviously smaller, but I am pretty sure if they WANTED to they could have added a bit more. Up selling is a wonderful thing.

Update came out today and addressing the battery drain issue. By damn, if we had battery drain issues and getting that good battery life, I wonder what we will get now?

Even after the update, and swapping out phones, I am getting killed on battery life. Wondering if I have settings or something carried over from my X that are ruining this for me.

I've turned down brightness, closed apps, restarted, etc. Less than 30 minutes of screentime today at 11:30 and I'm about 60% battery remaining. That includes charging to 100% while driving at 8am. I don't get it.

:oops::oops::oops: You had to have lost your mind on this post. No phone on the markets comes close to the 11 pro max
The 11 Max is about as good as it gets for a flagship, but there are plenty of budget Android phones that wipe the floor with the Max in terms of overall battery longevity.

So you're saying I need to do a completely new install on the phone? That is what I was afraid of. But want to clarify. Log in but don't bring in any of my photos, apps, etc? Install each thing new?

Photos automatically comes in because it is in the cloud and key chain passwords also once you remember the pass code. The only thing you need to re download are apps.
