I’ve had to switch to Apollo because the Reddit app was constantly using background for some reason (even though I had it disabled in background app refresh). This didn’t start happening until a recent update to the app so not sure what’s going on there.

Going to monitor battery life today to see if it is better after this and if standby time is better.
On 14.4.2 (no, I haven’t updated yet) many reddit webpages enter a loop of reloading after failing to load. Then, it shows you the content and after few seconds, reloads again, failing to load again. It enters a loop.

Thank God I have Apollo.

Just checking in before updating my iPad. I may update my phone as well. I don't have battery issues with 14.6 but it looks like it should be better with 14.7.

After a few weeks, it seems that iOS 14.7.1 has an excessive battery drain again. There is no specific app that is draining my battery. The impression I have is that the system uses more battery than usual for simple operations, as was happening with iOS 14.6.

I can also confirm this. On iPhone 12.

So the battery drain continues? Is it dramatic? Only happens when in sleep mode? Should I stay on 14.4.2 in all my devices?
I believe it's not as bad as iOS 14.6, but it's not perfect as it was on iOS 14.3 or earlier. I'm not having battery usage with the sleeping device, but I'm noticing that it spends more battery than it should on normal and light operations.
