Two:

-3rd Gen. 20GB
-1st Gen. 4GB Nano

Both were gifts from my boyfriend. =)

Former employee, and CompUSA used to sell a replacement plan for like $20, so you can bring your iPod in for any reason (battery, hard drive, etc.) and if they didn't have stock of your model, they'd give you an equivalent of what you paid.

Awesome...must have been fun working for apple.

All those awesome shirts and free iPods:eek:

I had a 2nd Gen. 10GB
Now I have a 4th Gen. 30GB Photo
and a 1st Gen. 1GB shuffle

Hoping for the 8GB (RED) Nano for the holidays.
Then maybe a new shuffle in the spring.

Only 1 a 2nd gen 4gb silver iPod mini, its been through a lot and is dying slowly, poor guy :( but i will get an 8gb nano (black) in January :)

2g ipod (sold)
1g ipod mini (silver/sold)
1g ipod shuffle (1gb/lost)
5g ipod video (black and a gift)
2g ipod shuffle

i rarely use the 5g video. i only listen to music and don't like carrying much in my pockets. i feel for my ipod video as it isn't being used very much/at all.

It amazes me how many iPods I have gone through.

1st Gen. 5gig (Nov. of 2001)
2nd Gen. 10gig (April 2003)
-Gave the 1st Gen to my dad
1st Gen. Green Mini (July of 2004)
-Gave the second gen to my sister's husband
4 Gen. 40gig Photo (Oct 2005)
-sold the Mini to a friend
5 Gen. 60gig Video (October 2006)
- Sold 40gig photo on craigslist

I just got a 512mb shuffle for $30 from Apple for running and skiing so I don't ruin the video.

I feel like I have a good setup now, got lots of space in the video for my whole library and videos, and I have the shuffle for working out.

February 2005:
6GB mini blue (sold to my dad)

November 2005:
30GB 5G black

August 2006:
1GB shuffle white (1 month before the new shuffle )

October 2006:
8GB nano black

At the moment I want a 2G shuffle and a 3rd generation iPod. Does anyone know if the 10, 15 and 20GB 3Gs are the same thickness? I definetely want the thinnest one, but i would get a 15 or 20GB one if they are no thicker.

This thread is useless without a poll.

I've had 2. The 2G 20gb iPod, and the 1G 4gb Nano.

Where do you guys get all this crazy money to buy 7, 8 of them? That's like a Mac Pro right there.

I have 6,

1st Gen 10GB
3rd Gen 10GB
4th Gen 20GB - Mint
1st Gen 512MB Shuffle
5th Gen 60GB
1st Gen 2GB White Nano

Friends think I'm crazy, but I see I'm not the only one on here with multiple toys :)

One. :)

iPod Photo 30 GB. I love it. Sure, it's a little thicker than the iPod Videos now, and it can't play video :D, but on it does have a smaller footprint and.. Well I just like it. :)

I'm eyeing an 8GB Black Nano for Graduation in June. (Long time away, yes.)

I have 4, hopefully 5 on Christmas.

1. 15GB 3G iPod (still works but the battery is going and it's a bit flakey)
2. 512MB 1G shuffle (bought to supplant my ageing 3G after a Canadian ski season did a number on the battery/reliability)
3. 4GB 2G Blue mini (my Dad found it out walking one day, handed it in to the cops and nobody claimed it after 8 weeks so he got to keep it and gave it to me)
4. 1GB 1G Black nano (won it in a Graduation day survey at Uni)

Hopefully:

5. 30GB 5G White iPod (to fully replace my 3G)

Three total:

-20GB Fourth Gen (monochrome)

-Refurbed 20GB Fourth Gen (replacement from Apple for ^^)

-60GB Fifth Gen (sold ^^ because I ran out of space :D )

9

1G Mini Gold
1G Nano Black 2Gb
2G Nano 4Gb Green

1G Shuffle(1Gb)
1G Shuffle(1Gb) Got rid of my first one, then really missed it)
2G Shuffle

1G iPod 5Gb
5G iPod w/video 60Gb
4.5G iPod w/color screen 20Gb

Never all at the same time of course :)

I think the 3G iPods Rule...I love those illuminated red buttons.

heck yeah! 3rd gen rules!

I have had the following:
2nd gen 20 gb (weird short out problem in the headphone jack) - Exchanged for
3rd gen 30 gb (still my primary iPod!)
1st gen 2 gb pink mini (for the wife)
1st gen 512 mb shuffle (for play)

Where do you guys get all this crazy money to buy 7, 8 of them? That's like a Mac Pro right there.

I am wondering more like how do you put all those ipods to use. It seems as if simply recharging so many ipods would be a full-time occupation, let alone listening to them
