-iPod 10GB, 1st generation. Sold on eBay to get...
-iPod Mini, blue, 1st generation. Also sold on eBay to get...
-iPod Shuffle 1GB, 1st generation. Still have it. These things are fantastic. Hot as the 2G Shuffle looks, I'm happy with this one.

As you see I've continually gone down in size, both physical and storage. I wouldn't want anything less than 1GB, but I'll continue to enjoy seeing them get smaller. Maybe soon you'll be able to clip it right to your ear.

Well, let's see (pulling on fingers)
-I had a green 4GB mini (loved it/sold it)
-I had a white 4GB 1st gen Nano (liked it, but battery life was too short)

-I have a white 60GB video-pod (good, thinking about selling it though, as I don't use it much)
-I bought a 2nd gen. shuffle, and really like it--gets me listening to music I have neglected, so small and cute
-My Main Man: black 8GB Nano (I like it, but wish it was green)

That makes 5.

After buying a stereo post-high school, I went for 20 years without buying any stereo/audio stuff--never owned a CD player. I figured they were a soon-to-be-outmoded technology. And I just wasn't into shelling out inflated CD prices.

Now that the personal computer and internet have matured and I have settled down in one place, I can't stop buying iPods! :D (I may have all I need now, though)

Well lets see...

1st - 3G 15GB
2nd - pink ipod mini 4 GB
3rd - 1G 2GB ipod nano
4th - returned 2GB for 4GB
5th - 4GB went haywire, so apple gave me a new one
6th - 1G 512mb ipod shuffle
7th - 5G 30GB ipod video
8th - returned 30GB video to get my money back for:
9th - 5.5G 80Gb ipod video
10th - 2G 1GB ipod shuffle

Thats about it! I still use my 3G as an external HD, my nano is collecting dust, i use my 80 and shuffle all the time.

Oh wow, lets see here...

1st iPod: 1st Gen 4GB Silver mini
2nd: 20GB photo
3rd: 512MB shuffle
4th: 4GB 1st Gen Black nano
5th: 30GB white video
NOW: 8GB black nano

Obviously I have fluctuated in storage... 4 - 20 -.5 -4 - 30 - 8... if I keep with the trend I will probably next be at a 60GB "true video" once that comes out...

1st: 512MB shuffle - Stolen
2nd: 2GB Nano 1st gen - Sold
3rd: 30GB 5.5Gen - returned because of the size
4th: 8GB nano 2nd gen - my main iPod
5th: 1GB Shuffle 2nd gen

I wish I had one. On the verge of buying a shuffle

Warning: The nokia 6280 is a useless MP3 player-it keeps crashing and I'm on my second one

1. 20GB 3rd gen iPod
2. 20GB 4th gen HP iPod (b/w)
3. 60GB Black iPod (stolen)
4. a different 20GB 4th Gen (b/w)
5. 30GB Black iPod (current)

I sometimes miss my 60GB, but I do like the 30GB black for it's thinness, and I had to suffer through using a 20GB for a long time :(

1.) 4th Gen 20Gb
2.) 4th Gen 30 Gb iPod Photo
3.) 4th Gen 60Gb -> upgraded by apple to 5th gen iPod
4.) 5th Gen 30 Gb
5.) 2nd Gen 8 Gb nano

So that is 5 or possibly 6 depending on how you count. Rather a lot, but i did have all of these (at one point i even had 3). However number 1 stayed with me for 2 years, numbers 2,3,4 were all gotten by me and paid for by me but given away. nu,ber 5 is my baby now. Love it.

I've had 4 iPods in total

2nd gen iPod Mini 4GB Silver... Sold to get
5th gen iPod Video 30GB White (still have it)

1st gen iPod Nano 2GB Black... Sold to get
5th gen iPod Video 30GB Black (still have it)

1G 5 gig. which broke and was replaced with a 20gig 3G. this one also broke and was repaired with parts from a 10gig 3G, which was fixed from parts off ebay. then I got a 5gig 1G again, just because it's so cool, and somewhere in there I had a 1gig nano and sold it.

So I guess 5 total, 3 currently.

Well, I just got my second iPod:

My girlfriend gave me a nice black 8GB nano. An excellent replacement for my (almost 3 year old) green iPod mini (who's battery recently has started to show signs of old age).

I've already named it Spøkelseskladden.

I think I might give the mini away to a niece of mine (with instructions on how she can get the battery replaced ones it dies for good). I think that could be a nice New Years gift or whatever... :)

One, is the loneliest iPod that you'll ever see...

Heh... for a second I thought I was going to be the only one with one iPod!

Me too. I have just the one (3rd Gen [?]- touch buttons above the wheel) B&W 10 GB iPod... I hear they have, like, these color screens or something nowadays. Man, what will they think of next?

I have accidentally dropped it a couple of times, but it seems to be hanging in there... (knock wood)

started with
-3rd gen 10gb; crapped out and sold on ebay for
-2nd gen 10gb; sold to friend for
-3rd gen 15gb; sold on ebay for
-4th gen 20gb; sold on ebay for
-4th gen photo 20gb; sold on ebay for
-5th gen video 30gb which i use today

3rd (4th? can't keep track--anyway it's b/w) generation 20gig, whose clickwheel was rendered unusable when I went running with it on the bridge over Tokyo Bay and was caught in a flash downpour, with nowhere to take shelter and wait it out...

...prompting me to purchase a brand-new 2nd-gen nano. so all ends well.

My one and only - 3G 20GB iPod. A couple years old now yet still works perfectly and has lost hardly any of its original charge. No real need for me to upgrade as it currently stands. I guess I'll see what the deal is with the next-gen iPods whenever they are released, but I'm definitely in no rush to upgrade.
