$9.00 a month for Text'n'talk for my flip phone, which I have for the odd occasion that I do need it, but is often unused for weeks.

$19.00 a month for data my iPad, which I occasionally use when I am out and about, especially when I need to find some place, but again often unused for weeks.

I have the iphone 13 Pro Max. Is it worth keeping 5G turned on, in mobile settings or should I switch it off to 4G Only? I have a very good carrier network (EE) so I get both good signal in London on 4G or 5G.

Yes. 5G can yield significantly faster downloads, at the expense of burning a little more power.

If battery life is a problem for you, make an appropriate 5G setting. 5G Auto mode works fine for me.

I’m in Canada on a Telus plan - 45GB of 5G data, unlimited nationwide calling, text, visual voicemail, etc. I pay $67.50 with discount. Not sure if I consider it cheap, but I don’t think it’s outrageous either.

I’m in Manitoba and I know we have some of the cheapest plans in the country. So that could also be a factor.
Yes Manitoba, has some competition from Manitoba Telco Services (MTS/Allstream/etc.) that have made it somewhat more affordable and competitive in your province. I hail from Alberta, though not Rural, I live in one of the bigger cities, not to be specific, but the population density and fact there are so many people on those $150.00+ Plans doesn't add up for me, The prices for a high-end have got to go down. Your Telus plan sounds really good though, 67.50, and its reporting to your credit agencies I imagine yes?

That's a price I couldn't argue with, Though the cheapest plan available on an iPhone 13 Pro as of writing this is something like $135.00 a month.
Its expected to be slightly higher with the iPhone 14 Pro's coming out soon; as inflation is contagious, many companies are taking the 'opportunity' to adjust their costs, often without any reasons to do so besides fuel costs. And when those fuel costs go down in time, Inflation won't revert to a prior backup price state, Because for the most part it's a one-way road. This is a huge issue.

With US Cellular I pay about $215 w/ 4 phone lines and 1 iPad line; unlimited everything on phones and 1GB plan on the iPad.

Phones are paid off or bought outright. Still have a couple payments on the tablet.

Once that's done, should be paying less than $200.

$75 incl tax on TMobile:

Unlimited calls, texts & data (incl 5G)
Unlimited Apple Watch Data
1 year of Paramount+
1 year of MLBTV
1 year AppleTV+

£6.99 for 3GB data, unlimited calls, unlimited texts. [=US$8.40].

UK. Giffgaff. Rarely use the data limit because I have wifi most places I go during the day.

Verizon 5G get more + apple watch cellular.. $89 after all the discounts.

i chose this plan because of the 12 travel passes a year, Hulu, Disney+ and Apple music included is about $20 a month anyways. plus the “uncapped” unlimited data is a plus because i use about 90 gig a month. I never use wifi.

£35 a month (including iPhone 13 and Airpods Pro). Unlimited Calls/Texts and 25gb of data. I can roll over data for three years, currently I have about 250gb saved up.

£7 a month 8GB data, unlimited calls & texts with Smarty who use the Three network, if more data is needed it's very cheep and easy to top up. This is on a monthly contract so can be cancelled at any time.

I’m still under $100 with Verizon’s Get More 5G plan. My 12 Pro Max was paid in full almost 2 years so no device payments. I plan to do the same for the 14 Pro Max and keep the same plan.

$92 for 2 lines on Verizon 55+ "loyalty" plan (unlimited) and this is not a 5G plan. I will be upgrading the 2 phones on plan this year and then will have to decide if a 5G plan is warranted which will increase monthly cost to $130+. I have chatted with Verizon and am told that this will be least expensive 5G unlimited plan for two phones - seems like a lot for 2 phones. Phones will be paid in full, no device payments. Been with Verizon for decades, but going to look around at other options.

$30 a month with AT&T prepaid with unlimited text and 5mb data. More than enough for my needs.

I could not be more happy!😺
