Too much for such crappy 5G service. T-Mobile, about $67 a month, and I am probably switching to Twigby.

Just upgraded from my contract with Three UK which gave me

12gb unlimited calls and texts
Roaming
5G

£10.50

New contract

O2

15gb unlimited calls and texts
Roaming
5G

£6

As O2 is now owned by Virgin Media which i'm also a customer of i get there "volt benefits" which give me
double the mobile data and upgrades my internet by 1 tier at no extra cost

It seems those in Europe get better prices than here in the U.S.

We pay about $40 per line (four lines) including taxes and fees. This is not unlimited data, but a 12GB shared plan across four lines from AT&T. We do get unlimited text/calling, though. Unlimited data would cost about $7 more per line.

Reading through some of the rates on here, I feel like I've actually got a bit of a steal ?

I'm on Verizon Prepaid in the US. We pay $25 per line for two lines, $50 total.
We get 6GB per line and usually only consume about 3GB per month seeing as there is WiFi at home, WiFi at work, and WiFi at family members homes. Unlimited call/SMS of course.

Somehow my parents were paying close to $100 for their two Verizon postpaid lines and their XS's were paid off a while ago, absurd!

I was paying for my own T-Mobile plan for myself and my girlfriend for several years, but my brother decided to get his family and anyone else that wanted to hop on to join his plan. It brought the price per line down to $20/month, and I think he manages 10 lines.

If I was to switch back to my own plan, I would go with Mint.

Damn. These US prices are awful compared to here in the UK. For about £20 I could probably find an unlimited data deal.

I am on my cousins plan. I pay $70 a month for my plan through att with the iPhone 13 pro max 256 gig. It’s just her and I on the plan. She has an iPhone 11 and aw5. The entire bill is around 220$ a month.

We both have unlimited everything with a data cap at 40gigs I believe? But we’re both always on Wi-Fi at home and work. I have worked at my house and she has Wi-Fi at hers.

$35 a month prepay a month, 15gb Verizon in USA. Unlimited talk and text

200฿ ($6 USD) a month prepay, with 200gb AIS Thailand Unlimited talk and text.

Dual nano physical sim Hong Kong iPhone 12. I can call any number in the USA from Thailand, any number in Thailand from the USA via Wi-Fi calling using the data from the sim of the country I’m in. Strictly “Wi-Fi “ isn’t required

AIS now has unlimited data/talk/text for 200฿ ($6 USD) but I’d have to change my phone number to get it. I never use 200gb a month anyway.

Auto pay on both

Anyone in NYC using Spectrum for their phone service?

I just left the cable store and they are reminding me that I can leave ATT (I am paying too high of a price for sure) and come to spectrum for $45 dollars a month (unlimited) or $30 for 2 lines.

Has anyone out here switched or use their service? Thanks alot!!!!

I converted to a Verizon prepaid from a postpaid plan to save some $$$. My old postpaid was $59 with 5 GB data. My prepaid is same 5GB data but less than half the price at $30, dropping to $25 after 9 months in. So in a couple of more months I’m at $25 a month for the best coverage network and more data than I’ll ever need in a month. Loving this price!

oh damn! hmmmmmmmmmm

I'm currently a digital nomad, and am currently using an iPhone 13 Pro Max I picked up in Miami. Traded in my iPhone 12 Pro for that. I will go with a data only plan wherever its significantly cheaper, because I really don't use cellular phone service - its all Facetime, WhatsApp, FB Messenger and Zoom for me. However, there are difficulties with delivery services and bank SMSs that way. I use VOIP.ms, Fongo and Google Voice to get around most of that.

Here's the plans I've had along the way:

Canada (home)
Fido 4GB data $5 CAD/mo
Telus 50GB data $90 CAD/mo

Int'l Data
3 HK esim 15GB data $37 USD/365 days
Airalo (intl esim provider) 10GB $35 USD/mo

US
Visible Unlimited data $25 USD/mo
Google Fi 10GB data $70 USD/mo

UAE
Virgin 15GB data AED 262.50/mo

Mauritius
Emtel 270GB data MUR 1000/3 mo

So far, nothing comes close to speeds and latency in Canada. The UAE was second; meh speeds, but needing to use the VPN really slowed things down. The US speeds and latency were really bad, borderline unusable on Visible. Google Fi was a fair bit better. I got Fi thinking I can use it everywhere, but it only worked on Du 3G in Dubai, so I had to cancel it.

Mauritius is a unique place - an isolated island, so can't really compare it.

Will add the UK, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia numbers as I get to those places.

I am a very light user. My plan with Shaw is $0 for unlimited calls in Canada and unlimited incoming calls, text, picture and video messaging. The plan does not include data but I can buy it as needed at $10 for 1GB which is good for 90 days. This is perfect for my usage.

IMO No reason to pay anything monthly to one of the biggest giants in the world when you have already paid premium for their overpriced smartphone.

I am now paying $94 a month up from $84 a month with AT&T for a single line. That is insane in this day and age.

- Unlimited talk and text even to international (needed otherwise WhatsApp calls sometimes get charged as international calls)

- 9 GB data with rollover and hotspot
