Seen rumours 11 inch will be updated just with A14x and Touch ID in power button

Yeah if this is true then both will be getting miniLED and probably both models will get a $100 price increase, that would make the most sense if they’re keeping both sizes:

Air - $599
Pro 11 - $899
Pro 12.9 - $1099

If that is the case I can imagine that the 11” Pro will be kept on for 18 months alongside the miniLED 12.9, then come October 2022, I think we may see the discontinuation of the 11” with the Air then getting a slight screen size increase to 11” and 120hz.

Ross young thinks that won’t be the case and we will see oled on 11 inch in 2022

I firmly believe 11 inch isn’t going anywhere. Think it’s too popular

Apple will brag about keeping the same price even with miniLed, IF the default starting storage will be the same

Whichever way Apple are going to play this will be interesting and will give us an insight on the future of the iPad Pro line up:

- if they don’t update the 11” screen... who knows if that might get discontinued in the future and replaced with the Air...
-if they update both to miniLED I think it will be safe to say both sizes are staying
-if they just release a 12” with miniLED there is a good chance both the 11” and 12.9” will be gone with the potential of a 14” in the future.
