Im using a non jailbroken 3GS. I used the 6.0 file and my MMS hangs at 90%.
What can I do to fix this? I get a red exclaimation point.
I reset the network settings, and rebooted. nothing. pls help.

N/m. MMS started working when I disabled MMS then enabled it again.

i have a non-jailbroken iphone 3g with 3.0.1. i did everything the OP stated... 6.0 stealth.

all i get is a long delay, then a red exclamation... i rebooted, i turned off then back on mms... i'm going crazy...

***edit***

i just got off the phone with at&t... basically i have the 250 messages for $3.99 plan. they told me that this plan doesn't do mms, only texts. i would have to go to the 200 for $5.00 plan if i want to mms.

anyone got a workaround for this?

Unable to select ATT_US.ipcc when Updating

Hi all. I have a Leopard MacBookPro with a 32GB 3GS iPhone running 3.0.1 Jailbroken. I think my issue is self-retardation. I followed the original instructions - Hold Option while clicking Update. When the window opens to select the file, the file is grayed out. So, I Get Info on the file and click the lock icon to open up permissions. Same thing. I then went into trusty ole iTerm and chmod 777 ATT_US.ipcc. Still unable to select the grayed out file from the Browse window. Can someone please tell me what piece I'm missing here?

Apparently the link from this forum isn't playing nice. I downloaded the link from another location and all of a sudden I can select it. Strange...

I can't get it to work. I'm on windows 7 and whenever I do the first command prompt it tells me that "C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunes.exe" is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
When I open up iTunes it doesn't find any ipcc files when I do shift and update.
Any ideas?

Come on man, you just opened up a thread that hasn't been touched in 3 weeks. The newest firmware 3.1.2 has MMS enabled. You don't have to hack it anymore. Just plug your phone in and iTunes will automatically prompt you to update software. This information has been posted on this forum many many times.

Can an admin close this thread? Is that possible?

I was hoping to get MMS activated without 3.1.2 so that I can keep tethering activated.

Don't get your panties in a bunch. There are some of us that are still using 3.0 so that we can still tether. So it's still a valid question.

^^^ There are a lot of people staying on 3.0 to keep their jailbreak, unlock and tethering.

This thread is very important to those folks as it's nice to have those threw things PLUS MMS.

Thus I think the thread is Very useful and should not be closed.

I finally got it to work using the 6.0 stealth ipcc file and the 64bit command prompt. sheesh that sounded nerdy.
