Cmd + Shift + 4. Once done, it is on desktop. Open it, and do whatever you like. I rarely use Cmd + Shift + 3 now.Grab:
Send to Preview button after capturing a screen.
Currently, after capturing a screen you have to copy the capture, open preview, Select new from clipboard before you can do anything with your screen capture.
Hand this task to Keynote, Microsoft PowerPoint, or something alike.Highlight text in different colors.
Again, not what Photos should do basically, although yes, it would be great to have it.Basic drawing tools in Photos would be very useful - similar to preview (arrows, lines, text boxes).
You can use Photoshop to do this, and you can even add more photos in one. Currently I don't find the point to add more photos in a single contact.Insert more than one picture into the contact. Example: Picture of spouse.
I agree this. Apple should consider consistency in this detail. However, Ctrl+Enter or Enter to send message is more like a personal preference, you know. But yes, this should be an option. In iOS - Pressing enter moves to the next line of the message. Click Send when you want to send the message.
- An option to configure Messages on the Mac to work like iOS Messages.
In OSX - The enter key sends the message. If you want to type multiple lines in a message you have to press control enter for each line and then press enter at the end of the message.
Magnet is almost perfect for this matter. Now I no longer bother wasting time on messing green button.
- Green button = Maximize window to largest possible size with Dock and Menu Bar visible
- Separate Full Screen Button
Could be a bonus, but with App Expose and quick three-finger gesture, this is less needed than in Windows 7. And I find three-finger gesture is really fast to use anyway.Window preview functionality similar to HyperDock or Windows 10.
More cowbell.
Honestly, I miss the color tagging. They used to encompass the entire text of files and folders. Now they're just dots. Some things Apple just changes for the sake of change.

I do hope Apple could implement Dark Mode system-wide. This would be very helpful when using computers at night.

Then if you don't want a file on desktop and delete it after then, Cmd + Ctrl + Shift + 4 would be your best bet. Yes, too many keys, but here, you can do that.I like CMD+Shift+4. There is a disadvantage to this command - You have to delete files off the desktop after the task is finished.
For this reason, I use Grab in preparing school lessons. Send to Preview would be consistent with other Apple apps, save time and simplify the process of extracting and reusing information.
Three-finger gesture up to preview all apps with opened window, and four-finger down to preview all opened window for current foreground app.The great thing about HyperDock is that the previews can be large enough to actually display content therein.
There is already a command to change property of showing hidden files.Finder:
Show Hidden Files. This should apply only to the Finder Window.
There is already a command to change property of showing hidden files.
Given El Capitan introduces SIP, conventional users should even stay away from those hidden files/folders.
However, given that Windows may show hidden files showed on desktop, why you request Apple to provide an option to show hidden files ONLY at desktop? "Desktop" is basically a folder in OS file system, as you may know. You can access all files stored at desktop folder in Finder. If I put a hidden file on desktop, and turn "show hidden files" on, then that file will eventually appear at desktop. No difference.Which command are you referring to?
Some terminal commands that show hidden files also show hidden files outside of the Finder such as the desktop. This is why I stated that this option should only apply to the Finder window.

I do want an option to control if I need to show hidden files or not, though, if Apple want to give, which is unlikely.
Oh, if you want to know how I control this feature using terminal, here is the command:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES
And I tell you this is not practical.I guess there is a misunderstanding here..... Only wanting to show hidden files inside the Finder. Sorry for any confusion.
-> Afaik if you apply a keyboard shortcut (I have shift-cmd-S), the menu item will show up again without having to use the opt key.- Return Save As (I would like to see Save As on the Menu Bar also)
A useful feature would be to sync selected folders to iCloud Drive instead of having to move stuff either/or to the iCloud Drive folder. Spotlight: Let the user sort the result categories. I mostly use Spotlight for dictionary lookups said:Nice ideas!
