iPhone SE (2016) I buy the new iPhone every year...and I just bought an iPhone SE instead

I love the SE but a bigger screen is very useful in my job.

I have the Xs but it's going in October and I'm getting the 5.4", unless the plans with the 5.4" are too expensive, in which case I'm getting the iPhone '9'. The increase from 4.7" to 4.9" would be a great bonus.
 
The 5c was my first iPhone. I hated the 5s. Hated the SE. Was okay with the 6s, had a bent 6 so it was a necessary move for me. The 7 Plus was really awesome, still is. Jet Black had the same feel as my blue 5c.

The battery life on this Pro Max is absolutely amazing though. It does not feel bigger then my 7 Plus because I kept that iPhone in a battery case which made it heavy.

I really hope Apple keeps the trend with these huge batteries and that I don't end up having to shell out $2,000+ for it. I felt a lighter wallet from this 11 Pro Max already.

Actually, What I used to do, was switch between the iPhone SE and my larger iPhone Plus at the time, I would just migrate my Sim card over from either phone of what I prefer carrying for that day. It provides me the best of both worlds when I want a larger display [or] if I was in a mood specifically for sporting a smaller display in my-pocket.

Buy.

The iPhone SE will stop being updated sooner rather than later and up to date firmware is necessary for banking apps. I expect the iPhone SE2/9 may be the last iPhone with home button as well. Hopefully, this new version sees similar battery gains as the iPhone 11 did over XS.

This. I don't know why but the feel to the 5s and SE just never felt right.

My Jet Black 7 Plus felt similar, albeit definitely bigger.

I would never get another device in the 5s/SE form factor. I doubt I'll even move back to a smaller screen after having this 11 Pro Max either.
