Haha, same here - really thinking about it. I was pretty set on not upgrading my 2018 11" iPad Pro, and I'm already likely going to jump on the 16" MBP later this year to replace my 2016 13" MBP.

I'm already thinking about trying to justify the purchase by gifting my iPP to a family member...

I can’t there’s too much technology to ignore. Selling my 11” Pro maybe $400 and $100 for the Magic Keyboard.

The announcement today was everything and more.

2500 Mini LED Zones
Dolby Vision
M1
Thunderbolt with USB 4 speeds
$1099 price
Full Display Output

Im on the floor collapsed.
Sad that the 11" iPad Pro only basically got the M1 and Thunderbolt... :(

Does the magic keyboard not work with the new one?
It does work - they made it clear both the new 11" and 12.9" iPad Pros still work with the Magic Keyboard. Also with the Apple Pencil 2 (there were some rumors there'd be a new Apple Pencil 3...)

I’ll wait until we learn more about ipadOS 15. If there’s a raft of features that my 2018 1TB 12.9” isn’t capable of, then I’ll bite. The new hardware is great, but nothing that excites me or will make my current experience tangibly better, beyond a better display.

Software-software-software is what interests me.

Now if they’d released a BIGGER iPad, eek! I’d be spamming the Apple store on order day.
