I'm debating what I want to do. I have the 16" MBP with 1TB and 16GB RAM from 2019. I was all in on waiting for the new 14" MBP M1, but not I'm debating on getting the 12.9" iPP since it's sort of the middle size between my iPhone 12 pro max and my MacBook. There's nothing wrong with my MBP, but the battery life is just ok. But the iPP is intriguing me because I like that I can get it with 5G and can draw on it. Ugh, decisions.

You'll dislike how heavy and large it is and go back to the 11". Happened to me.

Yep. I have both the 10.5 and 12.9 2017 iPad Pros. I bought the 12.9 for gigging (reading sheet music) and it's good for that, but that's literally the only thing I use it for. I've tried and tried to get used to it for day-to-day usage but I always go back to my 10.5 because the 12.9 is significantly more cumbersome. If it was the only thing I had then I would get used to it I'm sure, but that 10.5 is WAAAAY more comfortable for everyday usage.

I love the 12.9 for sheet music since the screen almost matches the size of a printed page and on a gig the 10.5 is just a tad small (first world problem I know) but going forward I'll never get another 12.9.
