Thing is I can understand people not liking some things about the X.

But switching apps with a home-button better? WTF? Swiping the screen is way faster...

But it's much less precise, and you ca be prone to overswiping and bringing up a different menu, or not swiping enough and being forced to re-swipe or wait for the picker to show. Then, navigating to the exact app requires even more precision, on the same swipe. Moving around home button app icons requires similar levels of precision: try moving an app between screens and see if it places it where you want or expect the first time.

I have no idea about anything you said. Swiping between apps using the bar at the bottom of the screen will only move 1 app at a time. There is NO “overswiping” or “ bringing up a different menu”, whatever that means.
“Wait for the picker to show”?? I have a X and don’t understand what you’re talking about.

Your complaints sound like something that someone who has never used an X would say.
