If list is all you wanted, how about one like this

iPhone/ios cannot do all these :)

Hardware

- S-PEN: stylus with 4000 level of pressure sensivity. Screen and stylus designed as a package to give complete pen/draw experience (unlike Ipen which is just a tag on). S-Pen is BT capable so can be use as basic remote camera/presentation clicker or usage can be customized for individual apps. Pen charges in seconds.
- Headphone jack
- Dual SIM card support. No need to carry 2 phones around.
- Built-in memory upto 512gb and MicroSD card support up to total 1 TB (future proof)
- Built-in heart rate/SP02/stress sensor
- USB Type C with usb-host /4K HDMI out/ DEX support
- LED Notification Light: Get reminder of missed events discretely.
- Fingerprint sensor for instant unlock.
- Dual Aperture camera - For better low light capability
Connectivity
- SIDESYNC : operate phone from any PC/mac (i.e. not proprietary) within wifi network. Phone screen appears as a virtual window in PC/mac. You can use PC mouse/speaker/mic to make calls or continue an editing session or run any apps in the phone from the PC. Similar to Iphone hand-off/continuity but more flexible (without needing to login to same account for all devices).
- DEX docking station- transform phone into a full desktop experience. Let you do basic desktop workflows without needing another desktop PC.
- WIFI Display (or miracast) built-in. Mirror phone screen to any wifi-capable TV without any additional setup or intermediate hardware (like apple tv). Or reverse mirror any TV screen to phone.
- WIFI sharing - use phone to act as wifi repeater/router for other devices
- Transfer any files between ANY devices via Wifi-Direct / BT. No additional setup/hardware requirement.
- Plug in portable disk/thumbdrive directly to phone using usb cable. Quickly transfer out your files/photos/videos (without going through slow and expensive cloud storage or itunes). Or just play a video off your portable drive. Or use mouse to interact with phone.
- Play music to 2 different sound devices via BT 5.0 (e.g. share music to 2 BT headsets). Also set individual app to specific sound source e.g. waze to always output sound to phone speakers and music players to BT. Using sound assistant you can set up different sound profiles depending on situations. Use Adapt Sound to fine tune sound to match you.
- Samsung Pay - can be used at more outlets (since it supports both NFC and magnetic strip)
- File System: something fundamental that we have been using (that's missing from Iphone). You can load any files into internal storage and ANY installed apps can use those files directly (no need for workaround using expensive and slow cloud storages)
- VR headset support - a whole new experience for you to explore
- With Samsung Connect + SmartThings Hub - provide an integrated systems to connect/manage your TV/fridge/appliances or home audio/visual and home accessories like lights/sensors. SmartThings supports most home automation protocols and there many more 3rd party devices support compared to Homekit.
OS / Software
- AOD - always on display. simple and yet very useful. Plus you can theme it as well.
- Multi-Window - run apps in separate top/bottom windows or popup windows simultaneously. e.g continue to view you tube while you are doing a whatsapp chat.
- Secure Folder - it is like a second login environment. It has a separate copy of system settings. You can install second copy of your app here and it runs in its own seperate data space. e.g. you can concurrently run 2 copies of whatsapp (one for work number and the personal number) and get notify at the same time. Or setup another Exchange account to sync work email which is only viewable in secure folder.
- Game launcher - a separate environment to launch games. You can set sound, notify on/off, no accidental touches, boost performance etc
- Advanced Camera software - Built-in AI to detect different scenes. Pro mode. Simultaneous front/back camera photo/video taking
- Set default app - you can set your own app to be default app to open different kind of files/data. Or change the soft keyboard.
- Shortcut - create shortcuts to anything: one touch direct dial/sms, directly open battery usage in Settings, open specific screen of an app directly etc. Place shortcuts anywhere - in homescreen, notification, side panel etc.
- Home/Launcher - fully customizable with themes, widgets, icon packs and live wallpapers - no more boring grid of icons. You can also use other launchers as well. Personalize your UI anyway you like.
- Smart Lock - auto unlock when phone is connected to certain pre-specified locations (incl BT/Wifi/geo locations)
- Side panels - customizable with many useful add-on panels as well. Includes functionality to clip your screen or create GIF from screen.
- Play/App Store: Many app stores to choose from. You can also side-load apps giving you more flexibilities and cost benefits.
- Other Niceties - (1) record phone calls. (2) smart stay to keep screen on while you are looking at it. (3) answer call by pressing volume key (4) end call with power key (5) reduce UI size for one handed use (6) take continuous screen shot (7) flip phone over to mute call (8) quickly launch camera by double press power button 9) gesture-based navigation with One-Hand-Operation+
Automation
There are unlimited possibilities with Android multi-tasking capability. You can setup tasks which the phone can do automatically for you. This opens up quite a lot of use cases NOT possible with Iphone. Some examples you can have running in your phone.
- automatically mute phone in a meeting (using calendar entries info). Auto unmute after meeting.
- auto set ring volume based on ambient noise level
- auto set network profile (bt/wifi/nfc/location) depending on situations/locations
- auto redirect important calls to another phone when you are engaged (without using operator services).
- start call recording for calls from certain persons.
- auto change wallpaper based on events or periodically.
- auto send pre-defined SMS to contacts having birthday/anniversary/etc
- tap on NFC sticker - initiated certain tasks.
- pull files from certain ftp/http locations to phone periodically or when certain parameters changed
- set screen to auto-rotate only when certain apps are launched. Prevent unwanted screen rotation.
- selective sync files from multiple cloud storages to local folders
- auto start/close Map navigation when phone connected to car BT
- auto start music app when headphone is plug in
- start tasks on phone remotely by sending an SMS to phone.
- auto read out received text/email under certain preset conditions like driving/phone turned over/etc
- and MANY MANY MORE.
Thank you for this. :D

I bet someone comes and says either "I don't need those" or "some of those are not true" without any evidence

You didn't have to do the Android Haters like this man.

So many times I have turned to my Android phone to cover any multitude of these features due to my iPad being more of a glorified iPhone/iPod Touch. File System access being one of the biggest reasons I don't buy iPhones.

I have said it so many times before, I view iPhones as glorified Feature phones, like the old Sony Ericsson Java Phones e.g the Sony Ericsson Aino, great looking device with a few smartphone features but not a full fledged productivity tool, and iPhone is much like vs. even a low end Android e.g. Samsung Galaxy A5.

I've been using both a Note 9 and iPhone x and am primarily an ios user .I don't agree that that iPhone is not a full fledged productivity tool. For the most part you can acheive the same end result on iOS as you can on an Android, the biggest difference is HOW you actually get there .

Some things are much easier on my Note but alot of things are easier on my iphone . I think the better comparison is that android is typically more featire rich which allows better efficiency at some tasks .I can be plenty productive on my iphone fory work as a CPA .This is not limited to just emails, I review and edit documents, spreadsheets, etc .

Comparing the iPhone to an old Nokia is just a bad comparison imo.

Honestly trying to be helpful and not trolling but its really not possible to future-proof an Android device if you're not going to get any software updates after 18 months.

With the Pixel line it's OS updates for three years and with Samsung I believe it's two years. Most apps are updated through the play store regardless of the OS they're running on top of. You cannot take the way that Apple handle iOS and directly apply it to Android but that doesn't excuse Google and android handset makers for slow to no support. Phones have gotten pretty powerful so it's reasonable to assume that people are going to be using them for longer therefore they're going to need to remain safe for longer.

Having said all that Android is still the land of DIY'ers we will keep phones relevant for much longer than any company sometimes simply to give the big boys the finger and sometimes because it's our favorite handset. I have a first gen Pixel my phone is completely up to date and runs perfectly by the time I come to the end of my guaranteed support October of next year I'll be ready for a change anyway and if I decide not to I'll spend the half hour and flash it.

What is future proof?

Looking back my galaxy has split screen multi tasking years ago but iPhone still doesn't have. Android has full event based automation from beginning. iPhone is just dabbling with semi-automation now with Shortcuts. Same applies to Keyboard and mouse support, DeX, Themes, home screen customization, Samsung Secure Folder, dual copy of messenger apps

I'm glad the iPhone covers all that you need, that is always great to hear. For me it still doesn't, iOS is still incredibly limited, and still missing features I had even on the old Nokias and Sony Ericsson. You may not agree with the comparison but for me it's very valid.

For me an iPhone requires me to always be near a PC and WiFi, if I want to transfer a file between devices e.g. Pictures and Videos captured on holiday I can easily do this via BT & WiFi Direct on my Note8, where with the iPhone I need to use an Internet connection to transfer to any non-Apple device. It gets very frustrating, I have especially seen this while at The Kruger with friends, some of whom have iPhones, often times we will share pics and vids without worrying about a data connection between Androids, but those with iPhones need to wait until we are in an area with fast data connection or until we can connect to a PC. Far too much of an inconvenience.

Anyone who makes a comparison using personal experience is by definition being subjective. I did it in my response as well so point taken.

Guess what I meant to say is that depending on your personal usage, the iPhone can most definitely be a full productivity device. I hear what you're saying about the cross platform aspect of using iOS. I'm going through that now using the Note. Because about 99% of my family and friends network use iOS so imessgse airdrop and FaceTime just make everything easier and it's pretty much my phone that screws everything up lol .

If you're used to windows, I can see where that could be true. iphone is almost like a Tesla in that regard. You always have to keep an eye on the battery and be aware of how much you have left.

Not being windows an iphone is a bit like that. But at some level I'm happy I don't have windows on my phone.
