law is serving the people. or people serving the law? there has to be some principals, Apple is laughing at people because it follows this law
What is "this law"? At this point I'm not entirely sure why I am responding to you. You don't understand how lawsuits work. Why should someone have to pay out for "intuition"? You need to prove they actually broke a law. What you are describing/want is exactly what is wrong with Sue-Happy America. Everyone is filing frivolous lawsuits.

I'm going to law school and will be a lawyer to represent those that are actually injured by those breaking the law (breach of contract, patent infringement) - not those looking to make a quick buck.

yeah, what is the law? consensus of people? :p

It's interesting you used the word "illusion". Back when Steve Jobs was around, it was common to read Apple's missteps blamed on Steve's "reality distortion field".

Now that Steve has passed, "reality distortion field" has been replaced by "Tim Cook (a.k.a. the bean counter) and his relentless pursuit of profit and margin".

That connection never occurred to me, but it's spot on. Apple has always had a reputation for scoring some impressive direct hits, but also a high number of complete misses. They've always caught flak for their big missteps, but the rationale for why those missteps happen simply changed and were rationalized against the outward persona of the CEO at the time.

People expect Apple to get it right on the first try 100% of the time and nobody does that of course. When Steve's Apple missed, it was because everyone was under the effect of his reality distortion field and when Tim's Apple misses it's because he's running Apple off of a spreadsheet.

Amazing how armchair lawyers who watch TV seem to think they have a better understanding of the law than lawyers, or people in law school.
Its truly shocking. I never realized how bad it was until I got into law school.

Are you seriously trying to compare road hazard with a botched Apple design? LOL

If I spend $1000 on a phone and it doesn't last me 2 years because you completely half assed the design/quality and underpowered it....Yeah, I think the right thing would be to upgrade me to the phone it should've been from the get go (6S+) when I pay an additional $150 for the same POS phone that will get touch disease, again.

You're delusional. Batteries die over time, they only have so many charge cycles. All Apple did was a minor change in performance to extend the life of the phone. And considering the upgrade cycle for most iPhone users is about two years, I don't see an issue with them adjusting the performance for older phones to get more life out of them.

My iphone is lagging like crazy after updating to IOS 11. Their story about battery wear does not stand at all, because i have my phone plugged in and it is being charged, why do they downgrade my speed when it is plugged it? They just want you to updade to a newer phone. Here is a picture of my cpu speed while plugging and using GPS. GPS could not be used anymore due to the significant lag i got. i hope Apple has money to pay for the insurance claim it has caused . My iphone 6s is 1.5 years old. I think i should have the option to go back to IOS10

Have you tried restoring the iPhone and setting up as new. It sounds like it is all SW issues. Also keep in mind the battery throttling came out in iOS 10
