They're pretty sweet. I went to AT&T to play with iOS 7 and make sure I liked it, these droids are far more graphically advanced than iOS.

What in the world does "more graphically advanced" mean?

Bigger screen.

The HTC One has a GORGEOUS screen and HTC Sense 5 really isn't bad(although I prefer vanilla Android), but the camera is horrible.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a pretty good screen and a pretty good camera, but TouchWiz ruins the experience.

The Nexus 5 looks pretty great on paper but I haven't used one in person yet. I may buy one just to play around with Android again.

Sense 5.5 brought some nice improvements throughout.

The Nexus 5 is blazing fast and the screen is nice but viewing angles aren't great. I prefer the plastic feel of the Note 3 over the N5. Its a bit too understated for me in the appearance dept as well.

The new HTC (codenamed M8) looks like it's gonna be a beast..very tempting. However, I'm holding out to see how the iPhone 6 turns out and I'm interested to see how they incorporate the iwatch with it. But man it's gonna be hard to not pull the trigger on the new HTC One. I tell ya what, Apple will make my decision much easier to switch over to Android if they keep the same 4.0" screen instead of going with at the minimum a 4.7" screen. It seems like a definite at this point though so screen size shouldn't be an issue.

How does graphically advanced have anything to do with the screen size?

I'm talking about the GUI.

I just can't stand TouchWiz, otherwise I'd consider Samsung phones.

Install Google Experience Launcher (which doesn't require root) and most of TouchWiz is GOOOOOOOONE. Also, there's this app called "Themer" that's really cool.

I'm am surprised you think so. Although I agree Android has acceptable functionalities, I've never been able to get pass how ugly it is. I would rank iOS 7 over Windows phone, then iOS 6, then Android.

Personal preference, of course.

It's 2014, Apple has been trying to debug iOS 7, while sitting out most of 2013, Google's been operating at warp speed.

A long time Apple supporter, it's very surprising to witness the hit Apple is taking on it's perceived rate innovation. The followers still mourn the loss of Jobs, while they become increasingly unhappy with Cook.

In the meantime Android has become a first rate mobile OS, one that is enjoyed by millions of users worldwide. Samsung and other OEM'S are using Androids many advantages to their great delight.

I have no idea what the OP actually meant. I was mostly being a smartass. Android does have some advantages over iOS, but I don't know if you consider a different(and preferable to some) UI as "more graphically advanced."

Yeah, I had a HTC One for a while and I tried a bunch of different ROMs and launchers and my favorite was the Google Edition stuff.
I figure if that's what I'm happiest with, I may as well just save $200 and buy the N5.

I actually think vanilla android looks better than iOS 6 and is on par with or slightly better than iOS 7.

But like you said though, it's all personal preference.

It's fashionable to hate TouchWiz while posting here. Like everything else in tech, it's improved drastically. My experience with the Note 3 I bought has been fast, fun, and completely trouble free.

I'm very impressed and completely satisfied.

Ok, I am not into customizing so is it ok straight out of the box.

I suggest going and playing around with one. I personably prefer vanilla android and I dislike all the junk Samsung adds. I don't like the lock screen, the notification center or the launcher.

Yeah I have, although 5mins in a shop is hard to tell. I like the screen and S pen. The reason I swapped form BB was I hated the syncing with my MBPr. Guess I would have the same problem with a Note 3.
Why doesn't Apple come up with something similar.

You can always use a launcher and rid yourself of Touchwiz. I think Toughwiz is fine, IMO. I agree, I think it's popular for people to complain about it without ever actually spending a decent amount of time with it.

With Android you really have to use google services. There are probably more syncing options than Blackberry though.

Because Apple is stubborn. Maybe later this year they'll finally release an iPhone with a larger screen.

I used a Samsung S4 for about 7 months up until 2 weeks ago.

Before that I had every version of iPhone since the first. I did take a couple months a few years ago to try out the Blackberry Storm for 3 months.

All I can say is IOS is the cream of the crop when it comes to user reliability and experience. Of course this is because Apple keeps things petty straightforward and simple. Droid definitely invites the user to take more control of each individual device. But at the end of the day when all is said and done, iOS lets you do most things more efficiently than Droid. Example;sending pics through MMS, photo sharing online, downloading purchased music to your device, wireless syncing with iMac...just to name a few.

Things I miss about S4 droid; microSD 64gb add-on, big screen, 13mp camera, shortcuts-EVERYWHERE and being able to organize them anywhere on each page, widgets everywhere, file system.

Trade offs. After 7 months I decided I really didn't NEED or necessarily use the Droid features enough to warrant not having iOS consistency with my iMac, iPad, and most friends who use iPhone.

Makes sense, i might just wait to see what iPhone 6 offers.
