Yep, still having this issue. It's incredibly frustrating. Handoff still works and Siri Suggestions are showing tabs open in other devices but the actual iCloud Tabs function is all over the place. It shows me old tabs that aren't open, the close tabs feature doesn't work, the whole thing is a mess. I am now on the latest software for my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Air but I can confirm that this started happening before I updated. I've reported it using the Feedback app on my Public Beta iPhone so we'll see if Apple will pull their finger out and fix something seemingly so basic.

it is frustrating, and has happened in times past.

For now, I am back to using Chrome, where the feature seems to work flawlessly at the moment (but Chrome also has random and frequent weeks- or months-long periods of nonfunction).

Must be a difficult feature to implement for some reason... Cache invalidation?

Do you guys use any content blocker app/extension? I use AdGuard, I haven’t tried it without content blocker but who knows they may be the culprit?

Oddly this morning my iMac (late 2013 runNing the latest available OS) synced (not latest but within 3 hours) but my iPad Pro and iPhone XS both running up to date IOS 14.2 boyy the h have zero iCloud tabs open. Nothing at all in the usual area.

I’m not a One customer.

Same issue this morning here (Paris time). I used to see some old tabs from my iPhone on my MacBook Pro in the morning, now I see nothing at all on all my devices.

I don't know how and why, but it works perfectly on my wife's devices. Tabs are showing instantly, and you can close them, it doesn't make the rest disappear...

I checked this morning, still nothing on the Apple repair platform  GSX.
It's strange that a lot of people are impacted and still no info about Apple.

But is it strange? Really? Because I find it all too common that Apple brand protection apparently outweighs their attitude about "transparency" and trust.

this morning, tabs are shown correctly. Then i go to another website on my iPhone, MacBook looses all iCloud tabs und actually shows no iCloud tabs.

so I guess, doing any changes will somehow crash iCloud tabs

Adding my voice to those who are having this issue.

On the same hardware, things were working fine with iOS 14 & Catalina, but stopped working as soon as I upgraded to Big Sur.

I still see great inconsistencies - correct for a short while, use Safari on a device then nothing shows up, etc. etc.

One thing I have not seen anyone else mention, I wonder if what broke it all was not Big Sur (as people on Catalina have reported the issue across all their devices/computers too), but the Safari update to version 14. I remember that came across even for Catalina, it was a separate update with Big Sur or you could have updated Safari and not gone to Big Sur. I don't know if by now, Safari on Catalina would have automatically updated to version 14.

So - is anyone experiencing the problem who does NOT have at least one laptop/desktop using Safari 14.x? I have 2 computers using Safari 14.

My iCloud tabs are completely broken now. Like its deactivated, not showing anything at all.

iOS 14.2.1 & macOS Big Sh... Sur

Only iPhone and iPad here, no Mac device. Issue started a while after updating to 14.1, and persists on 14.2. (Presumably they have the iOS equivalent of Safari version 14?)

I think I recall reading earlier in this thread people still on iOS 13 having the issue (presumably they have the iOS equivalent of Safari version 13?).

Edit: To add link to post #298 in thread that it’s happening on iOS 13;

Saw there was an update to 14.2.1 on both iPad and iPhone. So far it hasn’t had any funky tabs but it won’t sync a tab I just opened on my iPhone (this forum) on iPad. Showing nothing when I check iCloud tabs. Hopefully it’s fixed 100% soon.
Ok it’s not fixed, still same bug just not as prominent.

I use AdGuard too, but the problems occurs even with AdGuard disabled. Tested with AdGuard disabled for about 3 days (on macOS BigSur & 1 iOS device)

If it's an iCloud issue, it will impact mostly all the accounts.
iOS or macOS versions won't change anything.

It would be interesting to know if people experience this issue with devices on old versions, like iOS 12 and macOS Mojave or even El Capitan.

Then, I don't think any update will solve the problem, it will be Apple to solve this issue on their servers, or in the iCloud process of sync.

Don't worry, when Apple employees will begin to see that they can't access their remote tabs, they will report it.

I'm having this same issue with iCloud button showing nothing. Called Apple support and they clearly have no idea that this is a wider issue. How do they not know?

Same issue on my M1 MBA. Interestingly....I had to restore my MBA a few times when I got it (long story) and it kept defaulting to a computer name that I've now changed on my final install.

When I DO get iCloud tabs to show on the MBA, the old tabs from the early installs show up. So, I get tabs for MacBook Air, MacBook Air (1), MacBook Air (2), and my old MBA that I've since signed out of/wiped to trade in. My iPhone and iPad do NOT show up. Tabs on the iOS devices do show up fine with each other. So....it almost seems like (for me) it's a Big Sur issue. When I delete tabs for one of the old installs, they all disappear and then there are no tabs at all for a few days. Then the old ones show up again.

My old MacBook is in Big Sur and it started happening after that, so yeah, could be a BS problem. Like you, I am getting multiple lists on my iOS device.

I'm wondering if it is an issue with iCloud between Big Sur and Catalina. I'm also having problems with iCloud and File sharing:

I’m still on Mojave

Still having issues. I've signed out of all devices and signed back in. I'm not sure what's going on, but it would be nice if they fixed it. It's clearly something on Apple's end at this point.

It’s so frustrating because it worked flawlessly all those years and then they somehow managed to destroy it with iOS 14...
