icloud tabs sync like 1 day later if they sync at all, mojave 10.14.6, safari 13 prior today when i updated to safari 14.0.1.
apple tech hope you read this.. but you are getting crappier every day you earn more money.

For all the good it will do I submitted a bug feedback report through Apple.com/feedback

Until now, I didn't realize how much I used this feature. Reading List and History appear to be functioning correctly, but my iPhone shows no open tabs on other devices, my iPad only shows my iPhone's tabs and my iMac is showing iPhone and iPad tabs from 2 days ago. *sigh*

Update on my side: tabs started syncing again (for unknown reasons), but with a 3-5 hours delay.

Same. I’ve been affected by this for several days (since I first noticed). As of today, I’m seeing tabs only a couple hours behind real time.

Still a dozen or so of days old, closed tabs across multiple devices here.

I have been having the same 'outdated-tabs' issue for a month or two now. This is across 3 devices: iMac, iPhone XR and iPad Pro. All are running the most current system & safari updates.

This morning it got worse. Using Safari 14.0.1 in my iMac, visible tabs (outdated and otherwise) for other devices were present, then in an instant they all disappeared. Nothing visible for my other devices. Gone.
Opened Safari on my other 2 devices, and likewise they show no tabs for any other devices. Disappeared completely.

I guess it's time to stop using Safari?

Yes, having the same problem here.

• Mac mini (late 2014) / macOS 11.0.1
• iPhone 11 / iOS 14.2
• iPad Pro (10.5-inch) / iPadOS 14.2

iCloud tabs are currently syncing instantly on both my iPad and iPhone.

Edit 3 minutes after original post: Stopped again...that lasted long! (I’d tested it over 10 minutes before posting and it had worked perfectly.)

I think what amazes me more than the fact that yet again something else Apple has created doesn’t work, is their absolute 100% arrogance when it comes to this matter. There is no way they are not aware of it yet they will not officially acknowledge it in any way shape or form!

Yeah I’ve just noticed handoff to my phone from my iPad works but nothing from my phone to my iPad.

I take it you mean from other apps, not just Safari iCloud tabs. If so, it’s a bug from iOS13 I believe (I encountered it on 13, and it’s carried over to 14). I assume you don’t have the option set on the iPad to “Show Suggested and Recent Apps in Dock”. On the iPad, if you go to Settings > Home Screen and Dock and then toggle Show Suggested and Recent Apps in Dock on and off again, Handoff from iPhone to iPad will work again.

It will then work until the iPad is powered off (i.e. properly shut down, not just locked), but then when you turn the iPad on again, you will need to turn the same toggle on and off again to get iPhone to iPad Handoff working.

Just noticed I have the iCloud tabs syncing issue. Noticed a 2nd iphone on the list (phone was reset, all content deleted and shipped off to apple last week?) Deleted the tabs and now monitoring!

Today I came down to my office, checked the tabs open on other devices (iPhone, iPad, other MacBook Pro ) from my main MacBook Pro - hmm. It looks like it might be correct, I could't remember exactly how I left Safari on devices last night. So I bring up Safari on my iPhone, and just bring up the main page of one site. Then I go back to my main MacBook Pro and check for open tabs, to see if it had updated to the new tab on my iPhone that quickly, and *NOTHING*. Nothing shows for any device! This is such a pervasive and weird problem.

Nope still not working however handoff from my watch to my iPad is showing up. Just not from my phone.

Yesterday I opened Safari on MacBook Air, checked that the tab I had opened on my iPhone was there, did something else for 10 minutes, went to open iPhone tab I'd checked... no tabs for phone or iPad, only Mac ones. Yet I can see all devices from both iPad and iPhone, and all tabs there are up to date. Everything is running the latest OS, I've rebooted everything, signed out, signed in, switched on & off ad nauseam.

[edit]
...aaaaand they've all disappeared from everywhere.

I’m having the same issue, started yesterday that I’ve noticed. Doesn’t work with iPhone and iPad.
