Please identify this stencil font.

I've seen several at myfonts.com and fonts.com, but I can't seem to get a perfect match. Thanks!

What font does MS use for its office 2011 logo?

The "Office" is in a font called or close to one called FreeSet Book
The "mac" is in a font called or close to one called Kievit OT-Extra Light
The "2011" is in a font called or close to one called Qugard Sans-Regular Caps Tf

Identify Text Fonts

Can anyone identify the two different fonts used in this image? Ive tried all the online font scanners/questionaires and even tried raster to vector image converter because the program im trying to do this in can create lines from a vector image but the raster is not sharp enough to give me what I need. Im trying to get a toolpath for this which requires I have the lines and the program (Mastercam X4) has a Raster2Vector converter to create lines/arcs out of an image but as stated its not sharp enough to create a good copy of it. If anyone could identify the fonts or even give me an AutoCAD, Solidworks, Mastercam or any other drafting program drawing of it that would be awesome!

Can anyone identify the two different fonts used in this image?

"Pennsylvania College" looks like a weight of Helvetica, I'd go for Helevetica Neue Cond Bold, but some combination of Helvetica in a Narrow/Condensed and Bold variation should do the trick.

"PennState" is a bit small to usefully work with -- perhaps someone with better eyes than me can advise!

Cheers

Jim

I agree it's a version of Helvetica Neue Condensed Bold, the small text reminds me of optima.

Myriad Set

what is this one? is it an Apple font? please help...
thanks
the-beatles.jpg

Yes, it is Apple's version of Myriad, called Myriad Set. It's next to impossible to get it because Apple makes you sign a release that you will not distribute it. I have it because I've worked on some Apple projects and our Apple rep gave us a copy ...but I can't give it to you, sorry :)

...but Myriad Pro Semibold is really close. It's just not quite right if you're a perfectionist (like me). Cheers!

Aww, shucks.

Not for IDing Serpentine per se, just for being a font stalwart and guru, keeping this thread and forum being a valuable resource. Although the thread now has Q as the OP, after some recent edits, it was one of the first things I set up when I was moderating a few years ago after this forum got clogged with so many font ID threads.

Anyway, more power to your elbow, Mr. Campbell. :)
