To be fair, Apple didn’t take themselves too seriously when they introduced iPod Socks. Steve literally laughed when he announced them. “FineWoven” is so pretentious for something so low quality.
Imagine how Apple would announce iPod Socks now? “iPod Socks are made from high quality carefully selected Merino wool from Spain”
Steve would be sending some emails about now.

A pricey work of artificial fibers?
The colours are also horrible - the beige one which looks quite warm in the pictures is actually a horrible dingy 70s brown in real life. Grim.
I was very close to keeping mine, the feel was okay, the case is super thin which is nice if you want a slim/light weight case. The dust particle collection was slightly annoying, but I was going to live with it.
The noise put me over the edge on returning it. Every time I put my phone into my pocket or pulled it out - "swoosh" "swoosh" sounds. I tried my old phone in it's old apple leather case...silent. The FineWoven case being taken out sounds like I'm wearing track pants.

when the case costs 60 bucks I can understand why you'd baby it
That logo implies that there's a big reputation behind it, and this case does not hold up to that reputation (or maybe it does, depending on your perspective)
but, they didn't give a repair score????? or did I miss that? 
That too. lol Better for the case to get scratched, nicked, or stained than the phone. Yet people are obsessing over the case being treated like a case. Crazy stuff here on MR.
I appreciate that the FineWoven material is produced from recycled plastic, but isn’t the sustainability only effective if the case itself continues to be recycled at end of life?

I like mine, but they’re overpriced considering they’re not actually made out of a premium material.
It has apple's logo on it and I still don't care. I buy $10-$15 cases online. Not this $60 overpriced crap.
It looks like "Woolenex" but really cheap imo. I have been using Woolenex on my devices for a while now and it is nothing but durable. I wonder why Apple tried to replicate it instead of just using it since they already sell Incase brand on the Apple website.

I get mine off AliExpress; $5 thin transparent TPU cases (i hate bulky cases) for THREE ad im good. Too bad they yellow out pretty fast.
What an absolute mess. I don't see these around longer than the end of the next quarter.
By the way, this argument falls apart when talking about $150 FineWoven watch bands
