hey trying to jailbreak using windows vista. I have been going to jailbreak.toc2rta.com and its not crashing? what am i doing wrong?

What's the deal.

I ijailbreak my ipod touch, works great except the calendar function still doesn't have a button or anything to add events. What's wrong ?

I'm not quite sure if that would work, I recommend going to Installer.app, installing Community Sources, then installing "Touch Calendar Fix". That'll let you edit your calendar.

So I've just successfully run iJailbreak 0.3 and installed Community Sources. But I can find "Touch Calendar Fix" anywhere in the All Packages folder.

Please could someone point me in the right direction??

I am getting this error message as soon as I click "Yes" when iJailbreak asks whether I want it to install the iPhone apps:

I have restored my iPt before attempting the jailbreak. I am using an Intel iMac running Tiger. Any ideas?:(

Thanks very much dagored! Worked like a treat!

The question remains tho, why is this and much much more taken away from installer app ?, It was soo easy before, just one click and it was done...

I miss being able to install everything through the installer and download it through wifi. Why is 90% of the apps gone from the installer?

when i try to jail break it comes up with a message saying "mv: rename rdisk0s1 to rdisk0s1.dmg: No such file or directory (1)"

whats happening?

Just wondering if this iJailbreak works with Leopard? As I have some hissing on my Touch so want to take it in and see if I can get it replaced, but I want to install Leopard asap but won't if the jailbreak software won't work.

Just do this:

Download the file at:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=83SWYZVK

I used Transmit to open my Touch

Opened Applications

Replaced Mobilecal with the above download.

Went to "GET INFO"

Changed ALL to 755

Restarted my Touch and the Fun began.

Couldn't download the file from this site...kept on asking me of enter the three letter codes even after I waited 43sec over and over again.

iJailBreak does indeed work on Leopard :)

Ok, AriX, the Dev Team has released an official for 1.1.2.

Now I am just waiting on you. I haven't seen you post on here in a while.
Could you at least give us an heads up on whether you plan on working on this or not.

Thank you.

Arix,

I know you said you weren't going to release a 0.4 version of ijailbreak, but please do. I'm having trouble with the latest jailbreak methods for 1.1.2, and I thought your method for 1.1.1 was easy, and worked great.

My pod was all messed up after trying the version here: http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/site/112jb.html

Now I have a 1.1.2 ipod, but it's not jailbroken, though it has the oktoprep or whatever installed. I might have to start over again, and revert to 1.1.1 and then jailbreak it. I knew I shouldn't have tried to upgrade...Oh well, I know I can get mine back to a jailbroken 1.1.1 state if necessary.

The same thing happened to me, and I tried downgrading to 1.1.1, but the 1.1.1 file I downloaded restored to 1.1 on the Touch, so the jailbreak failed because it was looking for 1.1.1!?!?

Edit: Turns out versions of the firmware are in the Libarary/iTunes/iPod Software Updates folder!! Trying again.

Did it!! Wasn't easy but I now have 1.1.2 with iPhone apps! Like pulling teeth this time.
