iPod touch iJailBreak Released!

I am currently jailbreaking my touch, but I am stuck on the apple logo after restarting the ipod.

IS that supposed to take long?

everything has gone well. :) but i really want the mail.app and dont know how 2 get it?

It's not illegal, but it probably voids your warranty (just restore it and Apple won't know :p)

gotta love the workers at Best Buy, they dont know a thing ;)!
anyways, i completely messed up the manual jalbreak and am using iJailBreak :)

Thanks so much. Was absolutely painless. Most difficult part was just restarting the ipod a few times:rolleyes:
 
how do i connect to the ipod touch cas i have some files i wanna put in applications?

Do i use cyberduck if so. HOW?

Look online for tutorials... Just about everything that will work on the iPhone works on the touch, aside from the jailbreak process itself.
 
I know this sound stupid.. even very stupid

But where do I put the iJailBreak? :/

What do I need to do first? Crash Safari..?

Put the folder in your Applications folder, then go into the folder and double click the app. It will walk you through the entire thing.

Actually tried that 2 times but it still said that I should put it in the applications folder. I went to your site and downloaded the updated version! Now it worked for me! :)
 
Wow ! I will likely receive my iPod this week and I want to Jailbreak it but I'm not really good at commands in the Terminal, etc... I was looking forward something like this ! Since Friday I was eagerly awaiting your iJailBreak and it came out ! :) I downloaded iJailbreak (and all the other stuff from the manual jailbreaking, just in case) and you can be sure I'm gonna jailbreak my iTouch with your app !

You're 13 and you're able to make all this. I'm 15, and I'm not that good. Great job, AriX ! ;)

Immediate Error Message when Starting iJailBreak

Eager to get iJailBreak going, but as soon as I start it up I get an error message:

AppleScript Error

Mkdir: /opt: File Exists (1)


Thoughts on what this means, what I should do?
