looks like order tracking is down on the Apple Store app and website.

at least, I hope that’s the reason why I can no longer see my order and I get the “something went wrong” message!

Can I ask which RAM you are planning to get?

Not OP but I bought 4x of these and they work great, registering 2667 MHz:

Agreed. And I said as much. Just needed to vent.
I had your restaurant example happen to me a couple months ago. waiting for my food, watching all these other people come in and get served. Go to the counter to find out what’s going on, and my slip never made it to the cook’s clipper thing to be cooked. They did knock my order out in record time though.

Mine has been stuck at “Shipment Ready for UPS” since Friday. Anyone else?

I originally ordered on the 5th at 9pm, but was contacted by a manager the next day that somehow I ordered the 2019 version of the iMac (even though my email showed the new version i.e. had "standard glass" which wasn't an option on the 2019 - anyone else have this happen?). So I had to cancel my order and reorder on the 6th. Shipped yesterday (Aug 11) in the morning from China and is scheduled for delivery next Monday the 17th in NYC (was originally given August 21-25).

Next problem is I got the VESA mount and my desk isn't here yet to affix it to ?

Follow up: Order left Shanghai yesterday and was leaving me on "In Transit" with no delivery date, took a quick stop in Alaska this morning, and is now in Kentucky. Order is now scheduled for delivery tomorrow (Aug 17).... and so is my desk! So VESA mount iMac will be affixed to the desk tomorrow, big delivery day.

FYI Mine has been in Kentucky for 2.5 days with no movement. ? UPS says mine it should be delivered tomorrow too. ??

Where is this coming from? I'm right down the road in Mebane and mine is shipping Fedex. Been stuck in China a few days though. Probably be delivered in another three days or so, I hope.

Update:

Spec: i9, 10core, 1TB, 10Gbit, 5700XT, 8GB Ram (Bought 3rd party, will be 128GB)
Ordered: 5 Aug
Prepare to ship: 13 Aug

Now *72 hours* on prepare to ship. No money taken from credit card.

ETA:21 Aug to UK — remains unchanged. I can only presume then that if this ETA is still accurate, that my iMac is coming from Ireland because there’s no chance it’ll get here from China in 5 days!

Mine has been sitting in Shanghai for four days now. Hopefully they get moving soon.

I already have "departed from facility" from Kentucky so it should be on its way for me, not sure if you have the same

You vastly underestimate the logistics my friend. Apple sends me stuff from China to the other side of the world all of the time in under 24 hours from departure to doorstep.
