What you don't get is the title of your thread immediately insults anyone who owns a recent iMac. Do you not get that? Do you realize you are posting on an iMac forum? Do you get that it might just be inappropriate (unless it's an intentional troll)? If you don't then even though you may have a 200+ IQ you are a social retard. I have a 3 month old iMac and it kills the 7 year old DAW It replaced that cost 30k. I don't know what you do with your computer but mine is fabulous and I really bought a 27" 5k monitor and basically got a free computer for the price. I can't see how you figure that a poor value especially at the 5 year mark it will still be worth half of what I paid (normal historic Apple depreciation). Let's see what your cobbled together machine is worth in 5 years, I have built many and know it will be worth way less than half of what it would sell for from Alien/Dell. Like I stated before troll, no one cares for nor wants your opinion on this iMac forum as you call clearly see from the responses.
