Ow. Had I known about either of these, I probably would have chosen one of them instead. I just checked the last 2 pages of this thread and this was the cheapest vendor that was listed so I figured I'd give it a try. Oh well, already paid now so I all I can do is hope it goes through.
 
I have a new bootrom 3GS on 5.0.1 with baseband 5.13.04, I have current jailbroken and unlocked but only have shsh for 5.0.1, I want to use iOS 6, and only use jailbreak for ultrasn0w. The phone is locked to Orange, and they can't do anything because I don't have the original sim, so I was looking into these IMEI unlocking sites, but they all seem to be down for Orange and T-Mobile UK unlocks. Anyone know when they will be back up? Or know a site that works for Orange UK?
 
my iPhone 3GS is locked to Orange UK too.. I've seen people sell orange uk unlock for £19.99 but thats too expensive for me... I am willing to pay €10..

You won't get a permanent unlock for €10 I can tell you that. Orange themselves charge £20, but like I said I don't have the original sim. Other sites have a £19.99 preorder, but once it comes to the full price, it will be about £50

lots of positive seller reviews I wouldn't worry ya got a good deal. even if you have to wait a little longer for your unlock. :D

preorder means he cannot imei unlock your phone but wants your money. That guy is such a con artist.

i paid this guy $6.99 and unlocked my iphone 5 in 1 day
 
I used unlock_fusion on eBay, and while they don't process on weekends, and didn't get a message to me saying they'd unlocked my phone, they did actually unlock my iPhone 5, so I'm satisfied.

I have an iPhone 4s that I asked At&T to unlock but I am still under contract, so they refused. Then I goggled and found Unlock Fusion.

My first question is this thing work?
Where is the best place to get this?
Is there any security issue doing this unlock? and finally
Would I be able to use it normally with AT&T in the USA and with different carriers abroad?

I unlocked my new (in contract) iphone 5 with unlock fusion from ebay and received the confirmation within 2 hours that it was unlocked. I happened to have a UK sim from a trip to London last month and thru it in and was read without issue, didnt have to do a "restore" on iTunes. So yes once unlocked you will be able to use it in Europe with the appropriate SIM card.

I'm waiting until I can get home to double check with another sim card, but my iPhone 5 (ordered through apple, locked to AT&T) was reported as unlocked 3 hours after purchasing an unlock from UnlockFusion... I paid less than $4 and it was incredibly easy. (Purchased today and submitted my IMEI at 11:30 am and by 2:30pm I got the email that my unlock had been processed.

I will update this post later after I get home and confirm that the unlock is indeed processed

Has anyone found a somewhat affordable unlocker who serves Vodafone Ireland? I've seen a couple sellers on ebay, but they're at least 80 euros, which is far too much.
 
Has anyone that has unlocked a iPhone 5 through one of the many unlock services swapped the phone out at Apple for any reason? I unlocked mine shortly after getting it, but tomorrow I have to take it in to Apple to swap the phone out. Just curious to know if I will end up locked back to AT&T or if Apple will see that the phone should be unlocked?
